It's the delegates, stupid.
It doesn't matter whether HRC wins OH or TX by one or two points, or loses them by one or two points.

Or five.

She needs blowout wins in TX and OH to close the delegate count, and the best case scenario is her winning Ohio by maybe 5 points, and Texas by one. Even so, it's over for her. She can't overcome the delegate deficit, and moral victories for her at this point aren't going to help.

Will somebody rationally tell me how she can overcome the delegate deficit and secure the nomination if she doesn't blow out Obama tomorrow?

1. Im sure even Hillary no longers thinks she can win
The delegate math is against her short of a mass super delegate move towards her that would forever damage the party.

No, Hillary wont quit........yet..........she's now out to try and damage Obama so badly that even McCain could win.

Then she believes she can run against President McCain in 2012.

If she doesnt sweep tomorrow, the party had better step in and force her out if they hope to have a potential Democratic President this year.

2. There is good reason why most of the superdelegates have not committed
If she were to get big wins in OH, TX, then the same a couple weeks later in PA, she would make the case to the Superdelegates that Obama was able to knit together an impressive tapestry of delegates, but only she can win the big blue states. And we all know that is the only way to win the White House, don't we?

Don't assume that most of those superdelegates are rational people who are thinking about what's best for the country. They are mostly old-time politicians, and they'll do just about anything for the right favors.

So really, Obama really does have to win TX and VT tomorrow. If she gets three of them, the Clintons will figure they can scrap together the rest of what they need by wheeling and dealing behind closed doors.
