the nomination?

Does she endorse? Make speeches? Speak at the convention? Do you tell her to go away?

I guess it all depends on whether you think the line has been crossed yet.

I think, at this point, it is not going to be any material benefit to Obama to have her disingenuous endorsement. Her supporters would know she doesn't mean it, and Obama's supporters could care less at this point.

Any thoughts?

Although I'm hoping for an Obama BLOWOUT and kind of assume he'll get the nom, this campaign has pulled the rug out from under us time and again - so now more than ever, I'm waiting until I hear the "is this thing on?" from the fat lady.

11. Well if both of them have the consolidation of the Democratic
party as a primary goal...he of course invites her the the Democratic Convention (Of course she can't keep making stupid ass statements that she thinks McCain would be better at National Security than Obama). Obama needs a Wesley Clark type for VP.

If she is a gracious loser than reward her with a position she would excel at.

If Hillary Wins, nominate Barack as her VP and unify the party.

Unification of the party is of utmost importance, whenever it's decided ALL of us have to support and fight for our nominee.

23. Oh. My. God.
I literally can not believe she said these things. That she actually SAID THEM.

If this doesn't piss off a whole slew of potential endorsers (like Richardson), I don't know what will. I bet Kennedy and Dodd were apoplectic when they heard/saw these.

This is beyond believable.

And I could go on -- far worse than I would have thought (since usually things are blown out of proportion).

Thanks, Yael. :banghead:

31. Got it --
I was just "talking" to a Hillary supporter and I agree she wasn't "endorsing" McCain (typical spin), but that she just shouldn't have brought McCain's name into it if she wanted to compare her experience to Obama's. McCain isn't running against Hillary for the Democratic nomination. There is no reason why he should have been even mentioned. I just don't understand what she's thinking sometimes.

And besides all the dissing of Rachel's comment, I thought it was great!

Thanks again!! :headbang:

if you think that the Clintons are going to be any less powerful after this is all said and done. Besides the fact that anyone who has gotten over 10M votes should be courted, Obama better hope that she tells her voters to support Obama. Plenty are already saying that even McCain would be better than the Anointed One. So, keep it up and let's see who laughs last..............

A LOT of Hillary supporters, including myself, are not enamored of Barack Obama, especially given the mean-spirited camapaign he ran against Hillary, basically calling her a bad person. He should probably try to reach out a little. He isn't our only option on Election Day.

either ticket would have been fine with me. Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama. Then she came out with the 3am ad and then proceeded to pretty much endorse McCain with her "experience" comment. She showed she was willing to throw the party under the bus to win. Frankly I really thought she was above that kind of thing. Too bad.
