F#%* REZCO. We are SCREWN in Obamaland!!
Why? Because today will be an all out clusterf*#$. There will be so many people waiting in line at polling places in Texas primary and later at caucuses that we will not know what's going on for quite some time. Early returns from rural areas will come in first. The press will comment on Hillary's lead right when polls close. Then, we can expect the party insiders will have pulled some fast ones. Heavily Obama-leaning precincts will undoubtedly have voter challenges, not enough equipment or staff, etc.

I beg of you folks in Texas to BE PATIENT and wait in line to get your vote in. I also beg that you not put it off til the afternoon. Get in the earlier part of the day if possible. I know millions in Texas want to be lining up to vote for Obama....but we need more than want. We need DO! Can DO! Just like Obama did in his community organizing years. Just as he did in his legal representation of those abused by the powerful. WE MUST RISE UP and do our parts.

I live in Oregon. I pray to GOD this thing is over long before I have a chance to vote in May. Come on, Texas....make us all proud to be Americans again.

1. Your post is way paranoid and factually screwn.
You can't possibly know what will happen, and anticipating the worst is just panicky bullshit.

2. judging from past elections in this century
anticipating the worst sounds like smart money. I don't think you quite realize what we're up against.

6. If It's any comfort to you
I just heard a fascinating in depth interview with a Professor at McKenna College, Kenneth Miller. He's a political analyst and a very smart guy. He said that it's over, unless she pulls off a miracle today, and that starting on Wednesday, dem insiders will begin pressuring her big time.

9. I'm hoping so....dearly hoping so
I was ok mentally on all of this until this past week late in the week when she started going even more negative. I want to believe in people out there....but I know people respond a little bit more to the fear emotion than the "hope" emotion. So I am naturally worried on multiple counts that she will get traction with that cynical dirty politics that just drives me nuts.

18. Besides what's the worst that can happen?
Hillary loses the delegate battle to Obama but still declares victory and we beat her in every other upcoming primary. The media have obviously fallen for this little "poor me" routine by Hillary. They've decided they want to race to continue. Hillary can't possibly make up the delegates shes down to Obama by, so what will happen is the race will go on for a month or so.

I still say we win Vermont and Texas. Maybe even pull an upset in Rhode Island or Ohio. The Clinton campaign will declare victory no matter what happens. Even if we win the night in delegates, which I expect we will, then she can declare victory all she wants. She'll still be behind and we'll still be ahead.

LET'S SAY IT ALL TOGETHER NOW: It's all about the delegates. Hillary and the media might want to turn it into an "expectations" game, but that ended after New Hampshire. It's about which candidate wins more delegates and Hillary has never done any better than come close.

We'll win North Carolina, Oregon, Mississippi, Wyoming, Montana and others.

3. I have already resigned myself to covering for coworkers at work
because they were too stupid to go to early voting (disclaimer here - we work 12 hour shifts and get 3 or 4 day "weekends")...I don't think they have any idea about the turnout. :o

10. I'm from Oregon as well
And hoping the nomination will wind down. Even though I am an overseas voter, I'll still cast my ballot for Obama in late April and mail it back.

I could have voted in the Democrats Abroad primary, but decided regardless I'd rather stick with the state primary so I can be a part of Oregon's victory for Obama!

14. So many people early vote in Texas to avoid the lines that I'm hoping
it won't be a problem. I think nearly all of my friends and family have early voted.

19. I have seen you complain when anything is posted on the Clinton ethics
With Rezko, there is still no claim that Obama did anything illegal in his dealings with Rezko or that he did anything for Rezko. (No quid por quo). If there is anything, it will come out - but pushing it gleefully now would be like some of the posts pushing unverified Clinton problems.

It does bother me that there could possibly be some problem, as I know that at least here in NJ, people are disgusted with corruption. McCain has big ethics problems, but he has a media that pretends they don't exist - "this is the straight talker, you know". The possibility that there is something, even if it is just unsavory, but not illegal, bothers me as it could mean we lose this issue - or at minimum we can't use it. But, that is already the case with Clinton - where again there are things that though legal, don't pas my smell test. For the Clinton people to be on Rezko watch is rather hypocritical, on this issue, Clinton is no Al Gore or John Kerry.

21. ROFLMAO!!!! Know What I Love So Much About Your Post?
I love that you're begging, literally BEGGING people to be patient blah blah blah, as if you're so serious in your convictions and intent and care so so much, when your begging is reaching let's say what, maybe 15 friggin people here tops? Yeah, that's gonna help. I love that you try and come off with such urgency and necessity, yet do so on some obscure message board where your words will have absolutely no impact, instead of actually logging off your computer, doing some phone banking, and actually getting your message out to actual voters. If you were oh so serious, you wouldn't be wasting your time here. Instead, you'd be actually, like, ya know, doing something about it. Too funny!
