Quit Blaming Hillary
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 08:44 AM by nomad1776
It's not her fault she endorsed McCain over Obama

It's not her fault she has photoshopped Obama to look blacker than he is, in the ads she has run.

It's not her fault she has engaged in the same fear mongering we attack the Republicans for.

It's not her fault that she implied that maybe Obama is a Muslim

It's not her fault she told the press to attack Obama.

See people Hillary is a saint, nothing she does is her fault. If you think otherwise, you are a sexist who is picking on Hillary just because she is a woman.

Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 08:55 AM by Apollo11
Hillary Clinton on CBS - 60 Minutes - March 2nd, 2008 (my transcript)

KROFT: You don't believe that Senator Obama's a Muslim?

HILLARY: Of course not. I mean that's, you know, there is no basis for that. You know, I take him on the basis of what he says. And, you know, there isn't any reason to doubt that.

KROFT: You said you take Senator Obama at his word that he's not a Muslim.

HILLARY: Right. Right.

KROFT: You don't believe that he's a Muslim?

HILLARY: No. No. Why would I? There's no ... No. There's nothing to base that on - as far as I know.

KROFT: It's just scurillous ...

HILLARY: Look, I have been the target of so many ridiculous rumours. I have a great deal of sympathy for anyone who gets, you know, smeared by the kind of rumours that go on all the time.

You can see the whole video here:
www.cbsnews.com/sections/i_video/main500251.shtml?id=3897988n

The part about Obama's religion is all in the final 3 minutes.

Hillary's answer is very clear and absolutely truthful.

The problem with this whole discussion is that it confirms and underlines the widely-held prejudice that there is something wrong with being a Muslim.

As if being a Muslim would somehow make a person "less American" than a Christian or a Jew or an Agnostic or an Atheist/Humanist/Rationalist.

If you ask me, I think Hillary should have said "Well, as far as I know, Senator Obama is not a Muslim. Not that there's anything wrong with that!" B-)

20. i have stayed out of this room and primary race. since yesterday so SURPRISED
at what i have read concerning hillary and how her supporters are handling these issues. it is so reminiscent to the republicans with georgie boy. this is becoming lessons for my two young boys and my niece (whose father is a foxs news watchin republican) and i am showing them the similarities to hillary and say limbaugh telling republicans to be dishonest and vote clinton to oust obama out of primary. and how NO ONE, no republican is saying, hey rush, that is wrong.

hillary or her people darken a photo and all that is wrong in that, and still not a single hillary supporter has the balls to say, you know, i am going to support her, BUT.... that is wrong.

53. You have to darken video. It's not done on a printer. Different worlds altogether...
I do plenty of print and plenty of video.

With print, it depends on printer you use as well as all the print parameters involved in the process.

Video, however, is purely in the digital domain and the only way you make video darker is to use darkening filters. Compression schemes that would be applied to video NEVER have darkening attributes involved. That is ALWAYS with the filtering capability of video software.

The Clinton campaign hired a vendor that decided to darken Obama. Someone is responsible for that.
