Has Hillary sent thank you notes to Rove, Limbaugh and her other "fans."
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 12:31 PM by Cyrano
It's no news that the Republicans have been slobbering all over themselves for the past year of so to run against Hillary in the general election. They are aware of her negative ratings, they are aware that her "coat tails" would carry few if any Dems to victory in the congress. And they are also under the impression that she'd be easier to beat than Obama.

However, here's my obligatory disclaimer. I don't hate Hillary. I don't even dislike her. And I would like to see her win the White House.

Having said this, I back Obama because I want a Democrat in the White House and I believe he has a far better chance than Hillary of making it all the way.

But to get back to my original post. Limbaugh, on his radio show, has urged Republicans to go out and vote for Hillary (in the primaries). McCain has it wrapped up on the Thug side, so why not go make some mischief on the Dem side?

A lot of dittoheads are out there today trying to skew the playing field and trying to make sure that Hillary is our candidate. The reason for this is that they think she would lose the general election against McCain. As much as I hate to agree, I too think McCain could beat her. However, I think that Obama could and would crush him in the general election. Charisma trumps dull every time.

4. She did not endorse him. Obama people make stuff up because they are scared
obama will lose today. They should all calm down because Obama will probably win and Hillary will drop out. You should be worried about the the democratic party. I am angry with the Obama people on here who say terrible stuff about Hillary. I don't know I can support Obama in the GE because of Obama fans like you. I also know I am not the only one who feels that way.

8. Debatable, but irrelevant. She used the Rethug frame that they have used to defeat us
--despite tanking economy and unpopular war. McCain will cream her because he is much better at playing the fear card.

3. Excuse me, but I wasn't being nasty. If Hillary is our candidate, I'll vote for her.
My post was merely an attempt to point out that the Thugs would rather run against Hillary than Obama because they believe she will be easier to beat.

I'm backing Obama because I think he is capable of beating the Thugs.

So exactly where am I being "nasty" in my original post?

5. I think the idiotdittoheads are pretty much canceling eachother out, actually.
There are apparently just as many who advocate voting for Obama because they think his emerging scandals, his race and his inexperience will make him easier to beat.

6. Just the fact the you said she should send thank you notes to the Republicans made me angry
I am sorry that I said that you were acting badly.. You weren't. There are just a lot of people on here that say bad things about hillary.. Recently they have been accusing her of endorsing McCain... I cannot stand that stuff.. I feel dumb about accusing you of being one of those people.

7. No problem. Peace -- and may we win this election whether it's Hillary or Obama in the White House.
