Hillary must win Ohio and Texas - Just Ohio is a defeat. No spinning!
A week ago it was Hillary Ohio and Texas by wide margins..

Everyone is lowering expectations to keep this alive..

If she loses 1 of the two.. This night was a big win for Obama.

Obama was never supposed to win Texas or Ohio. To win any of them was huge..

Even Bill said she has to win both.. BOTH.

1. That is something I agree with. I think she could very well win both, but she needs to win both.

2. What % does she need to win by?
A week or so ago I read here that it had to be 16% in each Tx and Oh to pull even (I think) does that sound right?

3. I agree
I think it's likely Clinton will take one or the other tonight. She may even take both. But if she ONLY takes one, she's done.

4. and she must win with 65-35 numbers
a two point victory nets her 2 delegates or so. At that rate it would take her 75 more states to cut his lead, provided he didnt win any more states...oh wait there are only 14 or so left, d'oh

16. Correct, if her victories don't overwhemingly impact the delegate scorecard,
they're all for naught.

6. She needs more than that.
There's no plausible way for her to win the nomination without blowout wins starting today.

8. I think she'll win both tonight, but the question is by how much?
She needs to win by large margins (15-20%) in both to really get back in the game. I don't see that happening.

12. She doesn't just have to win both...she has to win both by large enough margins
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 05:48 PM by MercutioATC
The last time I checked it was something like 15%-18% margins in both states.

21. Primary performance is not the same as GE performance
Hillary lost VT but I guarantee she would take it in the GE.

22. She'll stay in if she wins OH and RI
most likely. I am really hoping for an Obama upset in OH, and then we'll see if she really thinks she can make the "buyers' remorse" argument winning just RI.

he might get a ton of extra delegates if he does well in texas

tonight might leave hillary farther behind than she started

James has said point blank many times - she must win both or it's over (exact quote).
