Interesting to see how Obama reacts after losing "front runner" status...
I have made it clear I am a Hillary supporter but I wil vote for Obama if he is our nominee. However, I am strongly for Hillary.

I, along with the entire nation, will be watching closely to see how Obama reacts to losing the front-runner status he has enjoyed for some time. This day will be a BIG Hillary day and it WILL be interesting.

2. What % does she need to win by? She can make up a Million votes deficit tonight?
A week or so ago I read here that it had to be 16% in each Tx and Oh to pull even (I think) does that sound right?

11. She supposedly has to get 65% of the DELEGATES to even be competitive in the race,
Edited on Tue Mar-04-08 04:44 PM by jenmito
which is about 70% of the vote according to Chuck Todd.

24. At which point she'd be a Democratic party pariah
and she'd probably be booed by thousands of protesters as she arrives here.

I know I'll be there expressing my disapproval as loudly as possible.

25. According to RealClearPolitics.... the deficit is about 910,000 ... see here:
Obama 10,451,927
Clinton 9,540,370

If you include Florida:

Obama 11,028,141
Clinton 10,411,356

...still up by 600,000.... even WITH Florida.

not so much on "party treasure".

I'll support her in the GE should she get the nod, but not without reservations.

18. Should the poll results hold up...
Clinton will still be able to hear the proverbial fat lady warming up backstage.

She's well behind in pledged delegates, and narrow wins in OH AND TX aren't going to cut into that much. The superdelegates are beginning to break Obama's way also. As I see it, she's gonna need, dead minimum, 5% wins in TX, OH and RI plus at least a tie in VT, and then a run of the table (with at least 5-7% margins) all the way to the conventions. Doable on paper, but a cast-iron BIATCH in the real world.

This "frontrunner" thing is relatively recent, and not how he describes himself.

Obama will still be more than 100 delegates ahead at the end of the day.

So much for Hillary's Big Day...more like her last day.

33. When did he get 'front-runner" status?
he hasn't won any states that matter, and the polls have been all over the place...but never showing him with up by more than a few points in either Ohio or Texas. Even though he has the most delegates, that doesn't matter. According to the Hillary campaign he has to win all four states tonight by an impressive margin to be considered the "front-runner"

Yea, I will vote for Obama if he is the nominee. That hasn't changed. But all he gets is my vote, that's it. Nothing more, nothing less.
The sick shit Obama people have posted here dampened my enthusiasm a bit.
