2. Calm down...means nothing
Cuyahoga is 0% reporting and the polls are still open in parts of the county. You can't tell anything from the raw votes this early.

Based on the exit polls, I think Clinton will win, but narrowly.

26. Yup, it is too early to tell
Anything can change when 0-30% of votes have been reported. Many counties that may be favorable to X candidate could still be left to count. At this point it would be misleading to rely on such preliminary data.

Obama was down in the 20s for most of the night and then the numbers dramatically began to shift.

9. Per SOS office
no counties are allowed to post results until after 9:00 p.m.

because of flooding and running out of ballots - polls were held open in some counties.

12. It's "Too close to call" in Ohio, not "Too early to call" but too close
I think HRC will take Ohio but it will be so close that her delegate lead out of the state will be very narrow.

17. right
an Franklin and Harrison are big counties too. Lots of time to go. I really dislike it when they call it at 5% or so of the votes in.

20. Chill out, dollface! Calm down. Relax. Have a glass of wine.
It's all good for Obama. It's the delegates, stupid (a Carville turn of phrase, not aimed at you!).

I'm in Ohio and I feel GREAT! Let her have an eensy victory if that's what happens. Obama will pick up more delegates tonight in VERMONT than she will in firewall Ohio. We Obama workers erased a 20+ point Clinton lead in Ohio in THREE WEEKS.

It's a happy day!!!

21. Volcano Jen, the fact that Ohio is "Too close to call" means that the ground game
in Ohio by the Obama team (including you) was a success. I was sure earlier today based on the last polls that Ohio would be called early for Hillary. This is good news--even if in the end Obama loses narrowly.

22. This is what we worked for!!!!
We are freaking giddy in Ohio. Did you hear that?

WE ARE FREAKING GIDDY IN OHIO.

This is called out-gaming, out-maneuvering, and out-smarting. :-) Obama's team has done it across the board, every step of the way. It's the math. They screwed up.

:bounce:

23. Remember that small town and mostly rural areas...
...are first to report.

Larger, metropolitan areas report last.

Many of the larger cities in Ohio have large colleges and universities and
these areas will report last.

Also, the larger cities also have a higher concentration of African American
voters, and they voted overwhelmingly for Obama. MSNBC reported that Obama
garnered 91 percent of the African American vote in Ohio, according to exit
polls. Those numbers will come in last.

Sit tight, hang in there and know that, at the very least--it will be a close
race. It will not be a Clinton blowout.
