Pick one!

Why the fuck can't these two candidates be adults and come together and make a deal? Huh? They're both greedy spoiled little shits that's why!

"I want it!"

"No, I want it!"

Just like a little toy doll, these two candidates are pulling at this party, and if they don't stop this bullshit soon, they'll break it apart!

Obama's younger than Clinton, maybe he should get to be VP to warm up for an eventual Presidential bid, and Clinton be President. Or Clinton could concede defeat already and get out of the race.

Something has to happen though, or they have to start playing really nice again.

John McCain is the other side's nominee, and that's it. The only way he's losing bigtime is a spoiler from the right-right in the general election.

We can lose if these two spoil the election from within our party. Forget about Nader, they're doing more to hurt us than he could ever do!

1. There's only one little detail you overlooked- the voters get to decide.
Oops. ;-)

2. And that is exactly what Howard Dean said on CNN today.
It's up to the VOTERS.

9. I heard a Pennsylvanian caller on Bill Press's show this morning expressing
frustration that he would not have the full voting options on his ballot, and may even lose the chance to vote for Hillary if she drops out.

I don't understand why we can't have a single-day primary.

13. A single day primary would be won by money and name recognition

15. Because only candidates with $$$$$ could compete
How is anyone going to campaign in all 50 states without being loaded to the gills with money 6 months to a year before the race begins? It's a dumb idea. The whole point of the primary process is to winnow out candidates over time and get an idea of how well they can manage their campaign. Otherwise you get candidates who are sort of good at winning elections but suck in office - the primary system isn't a full guarantee against that, but it does weed out most of the obvious dead-enders.

3. I don't think there has been a knock down drag out fight like this
that I can remember. It's actually pretty exciting & different. It's a good thing that the Dems are up against a pretty weak contender.

5. It's not exciting to me, it's pissing me off, and I know other people feel the same way.
These people are putting their own selfish interests ahead of the rest of ours by letting this continue on so long with such venom. We need to grow up already!

6. It might be time for Mr Dean and other party leaders to get together and
get rid of these two crybabies. I'll bet if someone were to ask John Edwards, or Chris Dodd, or
Dennis Kucinich or Joe Biden or Bill Richardson to sit down in a room and come up with a ticket,
we'd have someone that could beat McCain, not give the election to him. Lets bring back the smoke filled room.

8. Well they can't do that technically.
The only way this can happen is if one of the two little kids decides to stop breaking the toy.

I'd say they're both beating the hell out of any chance we have of winning acting like this.

14. I voted my conscience.
He was still on the TX ballot, so I feel that I don't have a dog in this fight. Now, I will vote for whomever wins. Chin up! I hope this forum goes back to what we know and love! :hi:

20. This primary season should go on until June.
What the hell is everyone in such a hurry for? There are several states that have not even voted yet. Neither of them should drop out, for God's sake. Bill Clinton did not seal the nomination until June and then he won. We have plenty of time before November.
