After tonight should Obama go negative
Should he damn the torpedoes and go with a full on assault on Clinton? If she continues to throw the "kitchen sink" at him will he have a choice but to get into the mud with her?

28. I agree, especially if Clinton continues to support McCain...

just make Clinton irrelevant. Counter McCain's WOT crap by talking about taking out Al Qaeda from the top down and stress foreign policy points that make Hillary look like an amateur.

19. That's problematic
as he's painted himself into a corner as a "uniter," the Kumbaya candidate.

How's he supposed to stand up and do what it takes to win, when it would blow his entire image?

32. Attacking McCain is the ticket....
Responding to Hillary just gives her more credibility.

McCain just won. So now, go after him. This avoids dividing Democrats, ignores Hillary, and gives us all a show of how he can campaign against Repukes.

10. I think he needs to show he can beat McCain
Clinton's strongest point against Obama seems to be the commander in chief issue. He has to prove he's ready for the job but he has to do it in context of challenging McCain.

14. He wont need to go negative if he wins Texas
The super delegates will be breaking away from Hillary in a mad rush to get our party a nominee to begin building towards the GE against McCain.

Hillary wont have any choice but to concede if the super delegates abandon her.

17. I disagree ...
I think BOTH candidates should pull their punches, admit they are nearly in a draw, and persuade Delegates at the Convention to sway their direction using reasoned arguments instead of a constant barrage of negative attacks ....

But alas: Many DU'ers would be so disappointed ....

he might have to find a path through the shit to get over on it...he surely seems intelligent and strong enough...

maybe Hillary's folks, and Johnnyboy's as well, will find that the genie was better when it was in the bottle...

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE BARACK OBAMA...HE WANTS TO LEAD THIS COUNTRY, NOT JUST BECOME PRESIDENT...

If she is unwilling to face reality, she will be like a hemmorhoid to him until the convention. The only to end it is to bury her politically.

36. and can this f***ing Kumbaya shit be left to the RWneocon propaganda hacks that smear us all with it
and try to see some strength and leadership in whichever candidate we support?

Kumbaya, my ass....maybe we could all use some Kumbaya...

are you ashamed to be: Democratic, Liberal, Progressive, anti-war, anti-conglomerate control of every facet of everyday life, fervent supporter of the Constitution, a believer in the equal rights of ALL men and women...

F***ing whiners are why the neocons took over this country with minimal support: we all cried after the fact and blamed Kerry for giving in, W and Cheney screwed us, Rove and the RW talkers swayed the 'masses' against us...

Kumbaya your ass into your local precinct...get voters out...for Barack or Hillary...quit preaching to your own choir...find those RW middle-class people that can not defend their own situation and/or position and talk to them...

Kumbaya America back to the people...I say make Kumbaya a sign of good things, not some badge of shame...

F*** those people who can't feel good about ALL OF US WORKING TOGETHER TO GET THIS COUNTRY RIGHT!
