Not sure why the numbers are different. I suspect CNN is getting them from a service not dependent on the SOS. Just posting for amusement purposes. Way too early to tell much.

3. That's based on early voting. Those are the numbers posted with 0% reporting.
They will readjust when the final tally is in.

11. I posted that site, silly.
I'm the one who posted the web site you posted to prove me wrong, you realize?

The delegate split was posted based on the early voting returns. It hasn't changed all evening, as Obama went from a large lead to now trailing. Obviously the delegates won't be divided until there is a final tally.

9. It may mean they are pulling from different sources.
The votes are counted by precinct at the county level, and counties report the numbers to the SOS. They may also report the results to some news service, or the news service may pull the numbers directly from the counties in some other way, so the news results the media get may be for slightly different precincts or voters than the ones the SOS has. That's just a guess, based a little bit on knowing a little bit about the process. :)

6. Either way O's supporters who originally said delegates should represent voters ... will renege
and tout how he got more delegates because of some convoluted system of delegate assignment based on the last Presidential election ... and will probably throw in some other crap about anywhere else she does well to boot. It's all too predictable. And the M$M will lap it up, if not encourage it.

7. The delegates do represent the voters
Don't be bitter because more voters and more delegates are pledged to Obama.

That's reality.
