Can't we just let some people be happy once in a while???
I mean...God!!!

Tonight was a good night for the HRC campaign and their supporters.

Woo Hoo I'm happy for you (not that happy, but what they hey -- My guy, Edwards, is out)

Why do people feel the need to jump into the HRC won threads with their criticisms and whining???

Let people enjoy their night.

This also goes the other way.

There are as many HRC supporters who feel the need to jump into the Obama Celebration threads with the same idiotic rants.

Let people have their night.
If your candidate lost, pick up the pieces and move on.

I can't believe that there are this many people who have nothing better to do with their time then jump into other threads and bitch and whine.

2. Thanks for this...
Unfortunately, I'm not at all surprised...I expected this. A lot of people expected a big night for Obama. It didn't happen, and they're bitter. Some of these people are even bitter and angry when their candidate WINS, so their behavior when he loses is no surprise.

8. Whose thread did I leap into???
I was refering to people jumping into the celebration threads of both candidates with their sniveling and whining.

This is my thread.

If unhappy people want to complain, let them start their own thread.

20. Objection! It is my observation that the Hillary supporters are roughly one-tenth as bad.

Don't give me that "both sides are just as bad" crap. At DU, the nastiness toward Obama is nothing compared to the crap that's been spewed at Hillary. The Obamites have been grossing me out ever since I came here.

This has been my experience, and I will testify to it in any court in the land.

7. Amen, pannier!
Whey some people think that THE thing to do is jump into a thread about the "other guy/gal" and piss all over his/her supporters is beyond me. How does that make either camp look good?

(I was an Edwards supporter too, and while I have my preference between the two candidates left, I'm not as invested in either one of them as I was in Edwards, so I don't feel the need to bring a brickbat into threads about either candidate.)

10. Me, I'm just waiting for the final numbers.
The polls had her clearly winning RI and ahead in OH with really not enough time for Obama to close the gap. So I'm not really surprised nor am I disappointed, especially since a lot of the early voting in OH clearly was gonna favor Clinton.

TX is the state I'm interested in. Obviously Hillary is gonna stay in. I just want to see the actual delegate totals.

The milestone I'm particularly interested when it's all said and done tonight is, whether Obama gets to the point where he is ahead in the delegate total EVEN IF Michigan and Florida are added in. That'll be a big deal for him.

13. As I said
It cuts both ways

I could go back to previous threads posted by happy Obama supporters than Clinton supporters jumped in with venom as well.

17. How am I supposed to be happy?
I'm supposed to be happy that the war hawk we've been trying to sink for six months is allowed another opportunity to fear monger? That the Dems are (once again) trying to mitigate the Repub "advantage" on national security by being EXACTLY like them.

18. Meh
I'm quite happy today. Nobody here ruined my happiness.

I know they're sad, petty, mean-spirited people. I don't care if they act like dicks when they lose - I expect it. It's when they act like dicks when they win that I just can't understand.
