In fact, that may just be exactly what she is doing.

Considering that the probability of her taking the nomination is next to nothing, and yet she still drags this on to the convention shows what she really cares about.

She has shown how low she can stoop in the last month.

Unless she takes Texas by a 20 point margin tonight, it's over for her. It was actually over for her 2 weeks ago, but that's beside the point.
