You guys made some pretty big leads disappear pretty fast. I have seen the amount of grassroots activism that goes into both campaigns and whatever anyone thinks about either candidate, the people on the ground doing the work are mostly an awesome set of Democrats and the Obama campaign has done a great job with grassroots groups :applause:.
I happen to think that Clinton would be the better candidate, but I think the Illinois senator has run an amazing campaign and would in many respects also make an excellent president.
Whatever happens in the end-a hearty congrats and thank you to all the grassroots activists in the Obama campaign here who work so hard and are a working proof of democracy in action.
(If the post isn't entirely coherent it is because I was watching in a bar with a bunch of college Dems-I was one of 3 Clinton supporters :D-so we were certainly the minority. I left once Ohio was called-but I could see it upset my other friends a lot and they are all great people who have been working very hard on the Obama campaign. I wish people on both side would remember that whatever your opinion of the candidate, there are a lot of their supporters who are exactly like you, who will also be upset and they will be people who put as much hard work into supporting their candidate as you did in supporting yours. Why do we always only remember the supporters on the other side who irk us and not the ones -the majority-that we like ?)
