If Barack Obama is the Nominee, We Will Regret It.
This man has gotten a free ride for so long now, that if he couldn't cinch this thing up tonight (and I fully expected him to) he must be a lotta sizzle, and no steak.

He has had every advantage (OMG...just LOOK at those fundraising dollars). He outspent her by a LOT, and still couldn't seal the deal?

Looks like Joe Klein might be onto something:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/joe-wilson/obamas-hollow-judgment_b_89441.html

(start quote)

I was involved in that debate in every step of the effort to prevent this senseless war and I profoundly resent Obama's distortion of George Bush's folly into Hillary Clinton's responsibility. I was in the middle of the debate in Washington. Obama wasn't there. I remember what was said and done. In fact, the administration lied in order to secure support for its war of choice, including cooking the intelligence and misleading Congress about the intent of the authorization. Senator Clinton's position, stated in her floor speech, was in favor of allowing the United Nations weapons inspectors to complete their mission and to build a broad international coalition. Bush rejected her path. It was his war of choice.

There is no credible reason to conclude that Obama would have acted any differently in voting for the authorization had he been in the Senate at that time. Indeed, he has said as much.

(end quote)

13. She could barely pull it off, riding on her name.
Come one... She had 20pt leads 2 weeks ago. Where did those go?

12. much better.
But since it never stops Obamamaniacs, they can dish, but they can't take it. I don't think Obama is out of this yet. I do think we will regret if he is the nominee.

8. Can we stop telling this lie?
"Senator Clinton's position, stated in her floor speech, was in favor of allowing the United Nations weapons inspectors to complete their mission and to build a broad international coalition. "

So I guess she didn't realize Iraq had ALREADY agreed to let the inspectors back in, 3 weeks BEFORE the IWR vote... or did she miss that little news story, like the one about the actual weapons inspector stating there were no WMD in Iraq?

14. Not to mention, proudly defended her vote
as long as things seemed to be going well, and even after as a "support the troops" point.

20. Hillary didn't read the NIE.
..and lied directly to the ladies of Code Pink about it.

Of course she wasn't keeping up with things that "don't count", like Saddam inviting inspectors in, because, well, they don't count. Just like Democrats don't count, because, well, we don't, at least, we don't count *to her*. Unless we live in a big state, with lots of lobbyists, and corporate donors, and TV cameras.

9. Deal
Actually, he did seal the deal. Look at the delegate counts. And how does the fact hundreds of thousands of ordinary people have felt so strongly about him they have been willing to donate, translate into a bad thing? How is it somehow inferior to Clinton relying on her "insiders?"

I don't know where people get this "free ride" jazz. He has been the victim of sleazy attacks, and he has taken the high road. And I might point out that Hillary was given a free ride for two years before anyone had heard of Obama. If she couldn't "seal the deal" after all that, maybe it is she who has a problem.

He's leaving not just a poison pill-- it's a toxic waste dump that even Superfund couldn't clean up.

21. Um, let's see....
He was down by like 25% in both less than a month ago. He will end up losing Ohio by about 9 or 10, and Texas is a virtual tie. Check that, after the caucus, he wins Texas.

As far as a free pass, yeah, the press has been harder on Hillary. I'll give her that, but when you have "35 years of experience" you've got a lot more questions to answer.

Not to mention, it has been all Hillary all the time for the last week and a half. She didn't need the money with all the press she has gotten, not to mention SNL and The Daily Show.

So please... don't cry for me Argentina.

We'll see you at the next primary... If the party lets her hang around that long. The dirt is coming... just watch and see.
