1. Sorry XemaSab

This is a disaster IMO.
Barring some unexpected events, McCain has won :(

6. I totally agree.
Thank you, Hillary Clinton and Clinton supporters. Thanks for putting the party last and your egos first.

4. We aren't... Obama's 11 contests in a row were much more important than Hillary breaking even today

11. I don't doubt that he'll retain the lead in delegates
but Hillary seems unlikely to have a "dark night of teh soul" like Huckabee did tonight where she realizes she's hosed.

She'll go on to Pennsylvania, and after that she'll hope for the superdelegates to annoint her.

5. I'll tell you why it's not a disaster.
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 01:53 AM by Harvey Korman
Because this Democratic primary battle is a captivating story that is keeping Democrats and our issues in the spotlight. The Democratic nomination is the story. In fact, in an odd way, as long as the competition continues, McCain's attacks on both Dems are almost treated as of secondary importance. In the end, the Dem who wins will do so with huge fireworks in the media, which will carry us to victory in November.

The Republican machine wins when they're able to saturate the media with negative and false stories about our candidates. Keeping this going for longer effectively holds their hands behind their backs, because everyone is too captivated by it to give a crap what McCain has to say. He's rendered irrelevant and in the end whichever Dem wins we get a stronger candidate who's also a huge celebrity.

9. You're absolutely right and the added bonus is this corrupt administration.
Howard Dean can muster enough Democratic heavyweights to keep McCain and the GOP in check. I don't see the disaster myself.

12. When are we going to be able to attack McCain?
Between the convention and the GE? And is this the same time period when we're going to raise funds for the GE?

13. Not a disaster at all.
This is great for our party. Look at how excited and motivated the voters are. Even my 11 and 13 year olds are interested, active listeners and participants in this. It is not a bad thing.
