I know it's the "Texas two step" but need more information. Is the winner of the primary always the same as the winner of the caucus?
Thanks ahead of time. And congrats to Ms. Clinton for Ohio and Rhode Island.

1. No
because some people who voted in the primary couldn't attend a caucus at night.

2. One third of the delegates are determined by the caucases. It's important.

If Clinton wins another big state like PA....it's hers................

The Republicans set this up for us and now they are drooling with hope!

Because they had none before....

Infiltration!

6. Not unles she wins big
If the margins are like they were in either Texas or Ohio, Obama can pick up almost as many delegates as she does. Besides PA is weeks away. That is plenty of time for Obama to narrow the gap since he already has a better ground team in place.

5. It Seems Like a Clunky Arrangement for a State to Have BOTH... But Maybe That's Just TX For Ya...

Wouldn't you think that a primary which involves a conscious vote on the part of each individual would trump a caucus -- in which some highly vocal person grabs the floor and encourages as many people as possible to bully everybody into their way of thinking? Group think produced from mob rule doesn't seem like a good way to choose a candidate for something as important as the Presidency.

Oh, and it looks like they are going to drag this out all night long, too!

BTW, Hillary and I have gotten about the same amount of sleep 9 total hours for 3 days -- or about 3 hrs for every 24!
