1960: Adlai rallies, vows to take hopeless fight to convention.
Aging insider Adlai Stevenson, backed by party stalwarts like Eleanor Roosevelt, took his primary fight against upstart John Kennedy all the way to a bitter and bruising convention fight in Los Angeles.

Anyone remember how that one turned out? :hi:
