Hillary won the Vice Presidential spot Tuesday night, I admit.
She showed she is a viable 2nd place candidate who could continue to campaign until the end.

But Obama's delegate count doesn't lie, and given the math, he will continue being well out in front from now until the convention.

1. I think Obama won at least the VP spot actually.
Judging by her interviews this morning, it sounds like Hillary is thinking about a Clinton/Obama ticket. Though I still think Obama will be the nominee and Hillary will not be on his ticket.

4. Totally agree. She sounds like the second coming.
I had to stop watching teevee this am. Puke alert. :eyes:

And no, Sen. Clinton, Obama will choose someone else for his VP, but thanks for the offer. :hi:

i'm glad she raised the topic on tv today.
If they can get beyond their differences, it could be a good partnership.

3. It is hard to ignore that she got over a million votes in OH and TX.
I don't see how the Democratic Party can turn their backs on either voting block. Especially since they are distinct.

Hillary takes the women, middle class, Latinos. Obama has AA, higher income, youth.

That's the country, minus the racists and the neo-cons.

5. Thats why we have an Obama/Richardson Ticket
With that matchup, I think he has the potential to take an overwhelming majority of latinos, in addition to his 90 plus percent African American vote.

7. women, middle class, Latinos....
I seriously doubt all of those would suddenly chose McCain in November if Hillary wasn't in the race, because of the racists and the neocons.

in Ohio to put Hillary on the ballot so that they can run against her?

Excellent point. Add em all up and. voila, its our party. I want the dream team ticket!
I would even be happy with Obama as her VP. Because, ideally, he could wind up with 16 years in the white house.

6. Great idea.
She could work on health care as the VP and maybe we could implement the system by 2016. Sorry that I am not ready to hitch my wagon to Hillary. I worked the polls in Ohio yesterday and the number of Rthugs that registered Dem was astounding. People standing at the table admitting that they are going to do 'a little politicking today' was disgusting. Hillary folk count this as a win...I call it a sham. But carry on, yes Hillary or Obama each would be wonderful.

9. She's the worst VP pick in the world.
Obama needs national security credentials, and she delivers the armed services committee. They are going against a freaking war hero.

Try again.

11. It doesn't matter who is at the top of the ticket, neither can pick the other. Hillary's...
'experience' does nothing against McCain's experience.

Neither candidate brings something the other needs.

24. False
VP's are rarely chosen because of their performance as presidential candidates.

And there is far too much bad blood between these two camps and their supporters for this to ever be viable.

Does the Democratic Party just not understand how much she is hated in all those states that went for Obama. She is a detriment on any Dem ticket, not an asset. Why is this so fucking hard for people to comprehend.
