After seeing Howard Fineman discuss HRC's little 60 Minutes appearance and her tepid Muslim/Obama response, it got me thinking like him about how she knew exactly what she was doing. So I got to thinking and thought this up - imagine if Obama had went on FauxNews and was asked about the rumors over the years about HRC's sexuality and replied the same way? Myself, I think Obama would have taken the high road and slammed the reporter, but what did HRC do?

And to make matters worse, 60 Minutes has a credibility that FauxNews does not and to me, helping to feed an idiotic believe Obama is Muslim - thus, aligned with terrorists and those who hate us - is much worse than giving a tepid response about lesbian rumors. Especially in this fear tinged state we are in because of Buscho.

2. HRC sexual preference

The question is she says she's not. Do you really know that for a fact. Would you swear under oath in court. Can we really do anything other than assume what they say is true.
As far as we know I haven't seen with my own eyes anything to the contrary. Have you ever had a friend turn out to be gay that you would have never guessed and sworn to be straight.
I have. People don't always even know what is in their spouses heart.

I think the as far as I know argument is weak.

3. My point was....

for years the right wing smear machine has implied not only is HRC a lesbian, but that she had a long time affair with Vince Foster and if Obama had been asked by someone on FauxNews about such rumors and innuendos, imagine what the response would have been if he had given the same sort of response as what she did when asked about the rumors of him being a Muslim.

And I can imagine many ways some sort of FauxNews "journalist" or "reporter" could have worked such a question into an interview.

I am not implying she is lesbian or has had affairs; what I am pointing out is her disgusting and sly way she answered the question so that the thought of Obama being a Muslim, therefore disloyal to the US and worse, remains in the mind of certain voters.

I don't think it was sly. If she had said no I know he isn't. what if some day he turned out to be just that (which I'm not implying) then it would be well Hillary assured us he wasn't.
Even she said No way.

4. He would have answered the same way... he and Hillary are both lawyers

It's a land-mine sort of question, and these people automatically react to a loaded question with caution... trying to say as little as possible.

Lawyers are trained to be literal minded.

Barack has no basis to think Hillary is bisexual, but he doesn't know that, and it's not really a question for him to answer, so if he was equally cautious in his reply as Clinton was, I wouldn't think a thing of it.

I think he would have told the interviewer such questions are inappropriate and disgusting and have no place in the dialog and this is one of the reasons he won't appear on FauxNews.
