Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 11:16 AM by RelativelyJones
I actually don't give a shit about the supporters on either side, but when setting the candidates side by side, Obama has been the one showing himself to be the true leader.

When asked on 60 Minutes if he would use RW innuendo against Clinton he said flatly, "We don't play that". When she was asked about whether Obama is a Muslim, she hedged (a true leader would have shut down that bullshit line of questioning from the get go). Afterward she pressed on the Farrakhan nonsense during the debate with her "I was courageous to reject NY's Liberty Party" (consisting solely of three jerkoffs in Binghamton) and followed up with that noxious 3AM add. Like Kos, I have always liked Hillary, but in the last month her campaign has done about ten truly gross things and I just have not seen anything so unfair coming from the Obama camp.

14. I'm with you, Fredda.
I am also very tired of seeing the Dems lose, but if Hillary keeps up these Atwater tactics against a fellow Democrat she will forfeit her chance to inspire a huge segment of the party and alienate millions of natural allies.

That press conference was a catastrophe - HRC's 3 AM ad resonated because he appeared so weak. Yes, you pounce on opportunities ... that's what we want our president to do.

But now they are going to get called on all the shit that hasn't come up in the campaign so far. She can only sequester her tax returns for so long.

8. My take on this
On TV this morning Obama looked surly and agitated about his loss last night. He certainly wasn't a happy camper. We have seen this attitude before after Obama has lost. He said nothing about the things that really matter such as the economy the war, and I think he was pouting so badly that he could have stepped on his bottom lip. He then mumbled and bragged about how he had lots of SDs to make him a winner. This isn't someone with experience, it is someone like Bush that we want to get rid of ASAP. Hillary has been gracious when losing, always upbeat. You Os think that Hillary will cause us to lose this election, think again. With Os attitude which resembles one of stubborn little boy it makes me think that for the good of the party then O should be a man and step down.Hillary has every right to remain in the race to the end because it is apparent that she is as good or a better vote getter than Obama any day.

9. Obama wasn't being nice
He was showing respect towards Hillary Clinton, then she barraged him with a bunch of negative attacks at the last minute.

Don't expect Obama to let Hillary to walk all over him. He will come back fighting with class.

7. You're Absolutely Right...
Looking at the people in his campaign team in comparison to the repugnant thugs in her camp gives a lot of insight into their leadership styles. Plenty of shit will begin to trickle out about the Clintons and their "associations" soon, and Obama just needs to keep running a positive campaign focusing on the issues.

She is a selfish, vulgar opportunist. She places her own legacy above the needs of the country and it is becoming more obvious with every debate and political ad.

It worked in Ohio and Texas but I wonder how it is going to play if she wins the nomination and she needs to support from groups that she turned off.

I am glad that Obama said "We don't play that" even if not "playing that" can potentially cost him the nomination.

37. yes
and if it continues like that, the political system will lose a lot of people who have been participating for the first time in their lives. My daughter and her four friends, for instance, all voted for Obama. They said that they dislike Hillary and her methods and if it continues in her favor, they just won't vote in November. That's sad, but I can't make my adult daughter vote.
