The fear I've expressed many times here is that Hill & Obama are gonna do each other in.

Now it's just gonna get worse. The Primary Groundhog popped up, saw his shadow, and now we're gonna get another eternity of Primary Season.

But then I had this weird thought. Can two Democrats do anything to each other that the Republicans aren't going to do in the campaign for the General Election? Somehow I really doubt that either Dem has anything on the other that the Republican dumpster divers don't already know about.

So the problem is maybe really one of duration and cumulative effect. Even if no new cudgels are entering the fight, the longer you get pummeled by the ones already there, the more damage you're gonna sustain. To be beaten over the head with Accusation X 5000 times is gonna harm you more than being pounded with it 500 times.

Personally, I want this mess to be over with more than I want either of the two remaining candidates to win. I just want to make sure we have a Demcrat in the White House in January.

the delegate math remains totally against her. Why doesn't she do something positive and end this.

I have no interest in assigning blame. That all sounds like some kind of nasty little children's game regardless of what you think the merits might be. Just don't do it. I see us trembling on the verge of a cliff, and just want this impending insanity not to happen.

It is much more damaging in the eyes of the general electorate to have a democrat destroying another democrat.
