So far, Clinton gained 18 delegates yesterday
Still 10 more delegates to assign from Texas primaries and 67 to assign from Texas caucuses. There are about 600 pledged delegates in the remaining states. Obama has a 135 pledged delegate lead.

Next up is Wyoming and Mississipi, both of which are heavily favored to go to Obama. Then Pennsylvania, which Clinton can win maybe 10%. After Penn, the states again are stacked in favor of Obama.

Clinton still has a mountain to climb.

3. Care to place a wager on that?
There is NO way she gets that much...

I was dead on with my predictions for yesterday.
I'll wager the Democratic nominee on that.
PA is the end of the road for Obama.

8. What would you care to wager? A donation of $10 to the candidate of the winners choice?
To be clear you are saying she gets 60% of the vote or 60 delegates, and that Obama pulls out of the race after PA?

If that's correct you have a bet.

11. agree jlake
after HC takes PA by 20-30 points, it will become crystal clear that BO needs to drop out.

We already know that in the GE, BO will lose OH, FL, MA and in 7 weeks it will be apparent he will lose PA also. Under those circumstances, he loses big time.

BTW: that was a great prediction on the trificta ... keep up the good work.

21. Bullshit.
He's down by less than 10% with two months--and that's a long time in politics.

25. Which she has not done.
Edging him out in TX and winning OH was not what they had planned, I assure you. After Wisconsin, she was up 20 points in both states.

You should be more concerned with how good Hillary is at blowing huge leads in very short spans of time.

Hillary will win PA by at least 20 points.

33. That would give her a net gain of roughly 38 delegates from PA.
How will she make up the remaining 70+ shortfall?

2. It's going to be close to a wash for yesterday.
Once the delegates are all worked out. She's only going to net a few at best.

If the sds give it to her anyway, she will have a small revolt on her hands.

5. States after PA don't look so good for Obama
Especially Kentucky and West Virginia. North Carolina should be good, but a new poll released today showed he barely leads there.

It just seems like there has been a big shift nationally over the past few days, and I don't know what's causing it. But everything seems to be falling apart and I am not optimistic.

10. Yes, the smearing worked.
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 12:36 PM by tabatha
Even though it was based on false information.

And also, the Muslim thing.

If you read the comments on pages all over the place - most people are fighting about the muslim charge.

Edit - and the shame is that Clinton has not been smeared, and there is lots to smear her with - and it coudl all come out in the GE, and McCain wins.

I feel sick.

Frankly, I don't support either, but I think I'd sleep a lot better at night as an Obama supporter than I would as a Clinton supporter.

16. Really?
North Carolina seems solidly for Obama. All the polls except the outlier you mention have Obama winning by 10 points. Oregon is also Obama territory. I have no idea about Indiana and West Virginia, but Oregon and North Carolina have a lot of delegates. I'd say it looks like a wash after PA.

With 600 pledged delegates left, she'll need to win by 21% to take tie or take the lead.
