20. Actually, it pretty much does.
You're stuck using the supermajority as a crutch. The 2025 number has been irrelevant for some time now.

Obama's going into the convention with a majority, and that means he's going to win the nomination. Dems aren't stupid, we're not going to have another '68.

The 2025 number is not irrelevant no matter how much you want it to be.

Neither of them has won the nomination and the process is still ongoing, your arrogance and sense of entitlement notwithstanding.

50. Hart-Mondale went to June 6th,1984. BUT it was the Super Delegates
that "padded" his final delegate lead of some 900 delegates. Before the Super Delegate Tsunami for Fritz...there was only a 150-200 vote differential.

21. He only need 489 and every day it goes down

He has had a greater net gain in superdelegates in the last week than she will get from yesterday

His percent needed in remaining 65% and hers is 77%

Oh and by the way the 489 does not include the 30-40 he will pick up from the Texas primary. If he picks up 35 delegates he only needs 60% and each time he picks up another superdelegate that number goes down. In fact if the superdelegate trend continues he can easily win enough delegates to win the nomination

The best she can hope for at this point is to narrow the gap.

If Obama leads in pledged delegates and Clinton leads the popular vote, things begin to get interesting.

Where is this "Clinton leads the popular vote" coming from? Is there a site somewhere showing all the totals of who's voted? I'd really like to see these numbers.

Obama leads by over half a million votes per real clear politics

N.B. Those results are excluding MI and FL; also do not include IA,NV,WA or ME as these were caucus states and did not provide totals.

9. Here's the formula that shows how Hillary will win this thing...
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the President his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, three Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

How quickly people forget that Hillary began the race with about a 150 superdelegate lead before a single vote was cast, giving her a ~7% head start in the race to 2025. Whatever happened to that?

41. She Can't Win
And I don't say this with the light hearted enthusiasm of an Obama supporter. She's my candidate and I voted for her last night. She won Texas but, from what I've been reading, he did much better in the caucus. The final results have, of course, not been released, but she's not going to take many more delegates out of here. I think it's time for her to thank her supporters, explain that the math doesn't add up, and just concede that this race is over. Dragging this out till the bitter end will serve no constructive purpose for the Democratic party. It's time to cut the shit and start planning for November.
