2. She sponsored the Protecting American Democracy Act of 2003...
From her website (not directly)

"...I am today introducing the 'Protecting American Democracy Act of 2003,' which amends by adding a voter verification requirement for voting systems to give each voter an opportunity to verify his or her vote at the time the vote is cast. Voters will be given an opportunity to correct any error made by the voting system before the permanent voting record is preserved.

While requiring that all election jurisdictions give voters the ability to verify their votes, this legislation also gives States and local jurisdictions the flexibility to employ the most appropriate, accurate, and secure voter verification technologies, which may include voter-verifiable paper ballots, votemeters, modular voting architecture, and/or encrypted votes, for their State or jurisdiction in a uniform and nondiscriminatory manner. Any voter verification method used must ensure that voters with disabilities and other affected voters have the ability to cast their vote in private, and language minorities must have equal access in verifying their vote."

4. That I don't know.
This is from the same site, re: Obama...

Barack Obama, U.S. Senator (D-IL), cosponsored the "Ballot Integrity Act of 2007" (S.1487), a bill "To amend the Help America Vote Act of 2002 to require an individual, durable, voter-verified paper record under title III of such Act, and for other purposes":

"TITLE II-BALLOT INTEGRITY

Sec. 201. Promoting accuracy, integrity, and security through individual, durable, voter-verified paper records.
Sec. 202. Requirement for mandatory manual audits."

12. That's what it looks like to me.
That's why I answered it by posting the evidence that she does support it.

But carry on... it's your right as a poor, put-upon Clinton supporter, apparently.

13. Paper and Pencils are cheaper than vote eating machines
and they are more accurate and verifiable. Also, why now that both our candidates are in the spotlight, why haven't we heard much from Hillary on the issue? It seems the only thing coming out of the campaign regarding election reform is the desire to do away with caucuses. Our Presidential elections are nationwide, there should not be flexibilities statewide or county wide for that matter. Why can't the whole process be a vote by mail program with a month given to vote and return the ballot? Why does she not speak of real election reform?

14. I really want to know why anyone on the Democratic side of the aisle
does not want to have voter verified paper ballots standard in all elections?

15. Although Hillary sponsored the Count Every Vote Act--05
which addressed many of the voting problems, but it really doesn't go far enough and allows for the DRE electronic voting machines to remain. This was an effort to amend the disastrous HAVA Act (Help America Vote Act) of 2002, which should be called the Help Diebold Screw America Act.

Nevertheless I think the Hillary (& Tubbs Jones) "Count Every Vote Act" was not passed. Election reform advocates are divided over it's effects, although in some key ways it would be an improvement.

16. If she cannot convince a Democratic Congress
to enact legislation to ensure all ballots are verifiable by the voters and adequately counted, then how is she going to deliver on any other promises? Why has this issue dropped? Why try to pass legislation that is a mere band aid that doesn't address the real issue of vote eating machines?
