Billary offers VP to Obama--"Join us or you ..will..die." Star Wars analogy anyone
Watching smiling Hillary putting out the "dream ticket crap" this morning reminded me of the Emperor asking Luke to join him and Vader on the "dark side"...

Of course Vader was Luke's father--Then again Bill did say we should vote for "Hope and not for fear" in the days before joining the darkside of Hillary's campaign.

And that makes Hillary the Emperor--so you can't say I'm discriminating on gender--that'd be one heck of a glass ceiling to break...

Knew I didn't get enough sleep last night...crazy thoughts....:)

3. Hillary is the Emperor from Star Wars?
I though she was Benito Mussolini. At least that's what I was told this morning.

5. No... more like
Hillary === Vader
Obama === Luke
Emperor === Chimp/McCain

But Luke will come back to vanquish the Chimperor and redeem Hillary (just before she tragically "dies" - in this case it's only a political death)

6. Sounds about right
The two with lifetimes of experience would be Vader and Palpatine. :thumbsup:

9. Wait a minute.
Isn't the Emperor Bill Clinton? Hillary is Bill's apprentice.

4. Search Your Feelings, Obama. You Know It to Be True!
Bill is your Fah-tha!

Or perhaps there is another. A sista! If you will not be convinced to join the dark side, than perhaps she will!!

Music swells. Cue lightsaber sounds.

Ah, to remember a time before Jar Jar Binks...

7. "The dark side"
I couldn't agree more. I find her ambitions, the way she has gone about it all, quite disturbingly close to vader. Really, the Clinton's in their power hungry thirsts are not as nice and clean as they like to appear.

10. The latest polls say different
The following is based on the results of Rasmussen Reports rolling polls. The pattern since Feb 5th is very interesting.

Around 3 weeks ago, Obama was beating McCain by up to 8 points. Hillary was losing to McCain by up to 6 points. So it looked like only Obama could beat McCain!

Now, McCain beats Obama by 5 points, but Hillary is almost tied with McCain. So maybe Hillary is the strongest candidate to go up against John McCain?

14. Rasmussen is a Rep rag
If Hillary is the nominee, I, for one, will stay home. I voted for her twice as a New Yorker and that is enough. She voted for this war and did nothing for New York. She will do nothing for the USA.

16. New York will stay blue - with or without you.
Maybe Rasmussen is unreliable, but a trend is a trend.

Was Rasmussen in the tank for Obama 3 weeks back?

17. Unfortunately, I am no longer in NY
I am now in the great state of Florida (sic). I voted in the "primary" but will not again if they reschedule it. I also will not vote in the General, in Florida, if she is the nominee. I simply cannot do it by my conscience. It will be the first time I have not voted in a Presidential race in 30 years. See how polarizing she is?

Sorry, but Florida ISN'T Blue and I will not do my part if she is the candidate.

Comparing Hillary Clinton's campaign with the dark side of the force?

How is that different from comparing Hillary with Adolf Hitler? :eyes:

19. "Billary" ... "die!' ... such a light heart!
Seriously, Team Obama at DU is melting down.

If you can't take THREE DAYS of semi-bad news in primary season, how will you be able to cope with a balls-to-the-wall election with real Republican slime?
