sorry hillary supporters, the math is not in your favor.
she'd have to win every remaining state by 62-38 to regain the delegate lead.
that's highly unlikely. sorry. just the facts. her only realistic hope to win is to persuade the super delegates to overturn the will of the people. the math is solid.

try it out for you self. be realistic.
here is the link.

there is not conceivable way that she'd win all the remaining states. especially by 62-38. that's not going to happen unless obama fucks up big. like big enough at this point that he'd go to jail.

1. It's not in Obama's either, so big deal.

Yours is a particularly stupid talking point cast out by the Obama fax gazette after his defeat last night, picked up by every sore loser in the country.

The facts are real. How does she catch up in the delegate count. He's right, do the math. Hillary loses.

9. Unless she wins all the remaining states
By wide margins - he'll have the delegate lead going into the convention.

She'll have to be way better in future than last night.

http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/03/05/clinton-obama.html?ref=rss

Last night she only picked up a baby step forward.

22. It's not about the rules.
It's about logic. Do you really, honestly think the party insiders should change the will of the people, go against the popular vote, vote against the person who won more pledged delegates. That would KILL the party. I wouldn't vote for Hillary if that's how she wins.

The could all go to Gravel if they wanted. BUT! they better go with the winner. Or the party will lose.

2. Aside from having the delegate lead, Obama's got the popular vote, too
contrary to what many are saying on DU, unless Florida and Michigan are counted. Bottom line, though, is the delegate count:

2008 Democratic Popular Vote

Popular Vote Count
*******************Obama***********Clinton
Popular Vote Total - - 12,989,852*******12,403,174
Popular Vote (w/FL) - - 13,566,066*******13,274,160
Popular Vote (w/FL & MI)* - 13,566,066****13,602,469

and they are the ones who made the rules for this whole show. Set aside the DNC and we might as well quit the primaries altogether and both candidates can go forward into the general election.

20. He'd still be in a much stronger position than her
going into the convention. I don't know how you'd talk the person who has the lead in electoral votes AND the popular vote into conceding defeat.

17. You forgot the other math
Her campaign is broke. Even if there is an upsurge in donations after yesterday - they won't get back to even, they are sinking in debt right now. If Michigan and Florida were to hold do over primaries, she might not be able to afford it. Right now she may not make it to Pennsylvania unless she's very careful.
