Has anyone found any proof that the "It's 3 a.m." ad ever ran in Ohio?

I ask because ever since last night Tweety has been crediting that ad with successfully "scaring" Ohio voters into voting for Hillary.

My understanding is that it ran only in Texas.

Does anyone have any evidence otherwise to correct that impression?

I guess I'm just tired of hearing how "effective" that ad was with playing the supposed "fears" of Ohioans.

It ran on Hardball, Tucker, and Countdown (and countless other shows) repeatedly. Some of them even played Obama's response ad.

I don't think it did air in Ohio, but it aired so much on the m$m it was hard to miss.

they ran it and other MSNBC shows played it. (and don't forget how many political web sites had it as well as the Clinton campaign emailing it all over as well).

You could watch it on TV shows, YouTube, etc. (If I may add, duh.)

But that was a choice. Any time you watch an ad that's featured as part of a TV program or on YouTube, it's a choice.

That was not what I meant. What I meant was, were people who otherwise would not watch it subjected to it? Ambushed with it, so to speak, while watching something else.

I think one comes to an ad with a different frame of mind when one chooses to watch it or watch a program about it than when it merely appears along with a host of other purchased ads.

24. I don't know how many political ads were shown in the non-political realm

If a person watched the morning/noon/evening news they possible could have ended up seeing the ad in a news broadast about the upcoming election. If the person watched The Price Is Right or Days of Our Lives I don't think they would have seen any political ad.

The national media covered it a ton for the last 48 hours before the primaries. Hillary got tons of free press, and plenty of potential voters in Ohio saw this ad.

I'm in Ohio, and I saw it. But I saw it discussed on programs. I did not see it as a collection of purchased ads--which was the question I was asking.

While pointing out Obama's lack of foreign policy experience was painful for him, it has to be discussed. Its a valid issue.

Odd that the media is supposedly so influential that Ohio tanked because of the ad, yet Florida was supposedly so uninformed that they didn't know who Obama was because he only ran an add or two there. :)

An ad simply doesn't have the same effect when you're watching it in the context of a TV program in which pundits are analyzing and deconstructing its message. Especially not one specifically designed to play on your emotions and NOT make you think.

I am beginning to believe the media meme that "Ohioans were scared into voting for Hillary because of this ad" is as bogus as I suspected.

29. I just asked my wife if she saw it...

She watches a lot more TV than I do and she said the only time she saw it was when the cable news shows aired it.

They might have run the ad in other markets like Cincy and Cleveland, but we never saw it.
