Hillary Campaign "Op" on Tweety says she needs to do more to"Slap Up Obama!"
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 08:30 PM by KoKo01
OOPS! ...Sorry...REWIND THAT ONE:

Obama Spokesperson, Ed Gordon who is host of "World of Black Enterprise" told Chris Matthews on MSNBC tonight that: "BARACK needs to 'slap up Hillary,' more!

I thought Obama Folks were saying Hillary was FIGHTING DIRTY?

What the heck does "SLAP UP HILLARY MORE" mean?

Are Obama's OP'S now going in to advocating "SLAPPING UP FEMALES?"

That's how I saw it...and the guy seemed to be a JERK from his other comments.

..Joe Scarborough. She was on his show and said she is thinking about asking him (Joe) to be her running mate.

CHARMING, Hillary.

I'm really shocked that Obama is such a sore loser he resorts to this kind of stuff. Do we really want this guy trying to negotiate peace in the ME? Hell no. He would be no better than Bush.

That kind of stuff, like the rest of the garbage he spews, is beyond the pale.

Can you imagine the outrage in this forum if Bush or one of his cronies said something like that? But coming from Obama, his supporters think its just fine.

there was another Obama Op on earlier who sounded just like Ken Mehlman ...but I didn't get his name written down so couldn't post about him. He sounded like every RW Bush Bot pushing Obama in terms that we who have been watching all this for years on DU would flag immediately as RW RoboTalk. It made we want to barf...but I'd just gotten home and trying to cook dinner...and I almost hurled...:-(

and it goes way beyond those of us who want to see the Civil Rights Movement finally succeed. It might succeed in ways we never imagined..because it "morphed" into something that MLK and his supporters...weren't envisioning...but it's the natural flow of success.

It just means we all can't be as "romantic" about our past and the 60's and 70's that we have been. (those of us who have lived through that and are "by nature" idealists.) :-( This is a NEW WORLD...and we need to deal with it all in CURRENT TERMS...with what we are faced with as the fruition...for all the warts and ambitions.

11. How is violence against women a "racial stereotype"?
It seems to me that violence against women is something practiced primarily by men, but that the men who do it have no particular color. Perhaps you can elaborate on the racial dynamics of violence against women for me.

22. I said in my post that I though Obama was "above all this" and accusing Hillary of a dirty campaign.
Edited on Wed Mar-05-08 09:18 PM by KoKo01
I said nothing about "racial stereotyping" in that post. I asked what would it seem to Obama supporters if they heard a Hillary Campaign Op was urging them to "Slap Obama Around, more."

But...it wasn't a Hillary supporter saying that...it was Ed Gordon saying "Obama needs to slapp Hillary around, more." This person was speaking for OBAMA and not Hillary. It wasn't "racial sterotyping" but advocating "violence against women."

 You can go to MSNBC and get the tape from Matthews Show...it was ugly. Gordon said other ugly stuff before that...but I was cooking dinner and didn't get it written down yet...but I dropped everything when he said "slapp Hillary around" and got my pen and wrote it down on the back of my recipe I was so outraged.

Obama needs to ditch this guy...if he's serious. Ed Gordon.

64. because i want to. and if you want it to mean that i am hostile aggressive or dumb
it is your way. i prefer to be out of the box. the fact is i am an old woman so far from being cool with the friends. a piece of me who i am. the good girl with this little bad. and with all the kick ass and the rest, people pretty much know from minute one i dont do demeaning for any reason and take it in the spirit. i probably cuss simply because of the people that tell me it makes me come off looking dumb, when in fact all evidence is contradictive to that assumption and makes a person have to actually expand and see a person beyond some words.

i do that in a lot of ways with myself. if you want the obvious with me, inevitably a person will be wrong. have to free up the brain, be flexible to get a more accurate read. just who i am

the reason sharing so much of this,

i have seen a lot of sexist bullshit on media with hillary. pisses me off (ya aggressive and i would get mouth washed out with piss when i was a kid). but because we may be against a person, we have a greater responsibility to not jump on every word to make them look bad and go after the real stuff. too much people dont see the bullshit they are saying or the media is saying and this is too big of stuff.
