They're expecting an increase of 300,000 patients. There's a lot more physical and psychological damage going on than anybody is willing to talk about.

7. This may also hurt a lot of older vets who my be dropped

from receiving care and cheap prescriptions because the VA just can't physically handle any more patients and they've run out of money. The only thing they can do is cut their patient load...in fact they have already started as it has effected MDH benefits. They have dropped some of their very expensive cancer drugs from their formulary...just when older patients need them. (All the new drugs are very, very expensive.)

So this horrible war has not only had a terrible effect on our new vets :cry: but it has also hurt vets all down the line. :cry: I don't know how we're going to solve this horrendous problem.
