time for me to be honest,
i like her fighting style..
but she doesnt represent my socio-political beliefs very well, obama does.

so im offically hoping for Obama/Clinton..
rules are rules.
whoever is ahead at the end, should get the top spot.

45. Spoil your old lady and let her eat Alpo dog food. Fit for a king!
First, it was a talking dog, for crying out loud. It's difficult to watch television for more than two commercial breaks without being confronted with a talking animal of some kind - usually a dog or a cat. These animals have been telling me what dog food to buy or what veterinarian to see or what kitty litter to use for most of my life. I can still remember the "Doctor Ross dog food is doggone good... woof," ads and it's been forty years since the company went out of business. How can anybody still claim a talking dog idea as proprietary?

always calls me 'Johnny Boy' and your writing is reminiscent of his.

One time he told me he was on DU and was trying to taunt me about it. He's about as freeper as it gets.

I had eggs and bacon. Yum!

So, how many delegates are you behind now? It's some where in the 150-160 range isn't it?

Obama has won, what, 13 of the last 15 contests?

Hey life is good.

18. Clinton is tougher, and been battling the VRWC for years
...remember how she got hammered for insisting on using her maiden name? Travelgate? Whitewater? Her hairstyle? Cookies? Hell, Scaife & Co. hated her worse than they hated Bubba. And she is still standing tall, if further to the Right than I'd prefer. Obama is a good man, but he's not ready to face down the MIC. In a few years, maybe.

I'm a Kooch supporter, but I am backing HRC now that my guy is back in the House. She is a mean, nasty, shark lawyer, and that's no bad thing at this time in history.

We don't need to sing Kum Bai Yah with McCain and the BFEE-we need to kick them in their shriveled little nutsacks. HRC is our best hope to have a legitimately elected President for the first time in this millennium.

22. Hillary throws Dems under the bus and she hangs with Repos. Remember when the lost the
House and Senate in 1994?

The Repo turn out in 1994 was the same as it was in 1990. Thanks to the policies of the Clintons Dems didn't turn out and vote, she depressed the Dem turn out with her right wing policies.

We have Hillary to thank for that. Thanks a lot.

27. It wasn't just Hillary, or even her game.
It was the DLC overall. Blaming Hillary for the deeds of the entire party is unjust.

We have a choice now that I do not care for: the two most right-wing dems from the original field. All the progressives are gone. BHO threw gays and blue-collar Dems under the bus, HRC has sinned too. I don't LIKE either of them.

We pick the one who is the most likely to beat the Reeps, since both of them suck as Dems. The alternative is Bush on steroids. No thanks.

35. It was NAFTA and Hill kicking the grass roots out of her secret Health Care meetings,
it was Bill reniging on his campaign promise to allow gays to serve in the military.

He was the CIC after all. Instead he ordered gays into the closet or get kicked out. He didn't have to do that, but he was more worried about his own political future than about somebody elses civil rights.

I completely understand your analysis as to "the two most right-wing dems from the original field. All the progressives are gone." Based on voting records there is no other conclusion. Yet we know that with Hill, the grass roots doesn't stand a chance to have any voice at all.

With Obama, we might have a chance.

You might notice that a number of true progressives have endorsed Obama. People like David Swanson, Winona LaDuke, Naomi Wolfe have all, for better or worse, jumped on the Obama bus,

And because of Obama's grass roots campaign, he has the best shot at beating McCain. He has the best shot at raising the money, at moving our voters to the polls and not motivating the Repo voters to the polls. He's our best hope

...I'd give him a chance. But that episode, and BHO's refusal to repudiate it, revealed Obama as a phony. He's just another lying, scheming politico. No better, no worse, except he isn't very good at it. Yet.

Of the two right-wing Dems, I'll go with the devil I know.

49. The DLC is NOT the party, no matter how much they might like to
think so.

The DLC is Clinton's wing of the party - and she is their candidate. So I feel very comfortable at laying all the sins of the DLC at her feet, if she is the one chosen to represent them -- and it IS them she would represent, because she, and they, do not represent ME.

It makes you a victim.

She has NEVER had a real fight before going up against Obama.

The ONLY major fight she had was her health plan in 94, and she rolled over and never mentioned it again.

She is NOT strong, she is NOT a fighter. She doesn't know what the word means.

She sure was no fuckin pit bull when it came time to vote on the Iraq war resolution. She knew in her heart that it was bullshit but she also knew she'd be labeled weak and unpatriotic if she voted against it. There are plenty more examples as well.

Do not let this woman get into a general elction contest with McCain. You won't recognize the primary Hillary. She'll be kissing McCain's ass big time while the rest of the repubs tear her to shreds.
