HRC's IWR vote based on 8 yrs experience on the other side of Pennsylvania Ave

It gets interesting around 01:10, when Clinton declared, with a half smirk on her face:

"This is a very difficult vote."

Oh really, Mrs. Clinton? How so, you didn't even bother to read the NIE. Was the most difficult part waking up in the morning to get to the Capitol on time?

This is probably the hardest decision I've ever had to make.

Precisely. It was your one and only "3AM call." And guess what? You FAILED.

Any vote that might lead to war should be hard.

Oh? But I thought you never expected Bush to go to war?? So you knew your vote could lead to war, but you didn't read the NIE. Sweet.

But I cast it with conviction.

Thanks. :eyes: I'm sure that's a great consolation prize for all the dead and wounded.

And perhaps my decision is influenced by my 8 years of experience on the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue, in the White House, watching my husband deal with serious changes to our nation..."

Hmm... OK, let's do some math. You made this speech in 2002. So at that time you had 8 years of experience from watching your husband make tough decisions. Now, less than 6 years later, you suddenly have 35 years of experience? Please explain in detail what the other 21 years consisted of. We know some of it consisted of defending child rapists, but that's neither here nor there--after all, you were simply doing your job, you "fighter" you. :eyes:

***Note: I don't want Obama to go negative, but I will certainly do so, on his behalf...***

5. And your candidate's husband was doing a book tour defending Bush at the same time
Obama was trying to help Kerry and Edwards during a tough general election. What was Bill's excuse?

2. It was a vote for further diplomacy and inspections. Except when it was
a "very difficult" vote that might "lead to war". Or, you know, whatever that vote was for.

3. Show your tax returns, Hillary - and let us know the donors
of Bill's Pres. Library
Why is it a secret?

Hillary is a liar.

4. Bill Clinton is not running for office and HIllary does not have a
Presidential Library (yet).

Does Obama's Tax Returns show a $300,000 real estate gift from Rezko?

6. Bill and Hillary file joint returns. And most of their income is from his activities.
You know, big speaking fees to secure Dubai port deals and to meddle in Kazakhstan elections.

I can't believe the nerve of the Clintons, bringing up Rezko penny ante shit while the list of their corrupt donors grows ever longer.

7. The Clintons have more than their share of corrupt associates over the years
including several who ended up in prison.
Obama gave most of the money he recieved from Rezko immediately to charity, while the Clintons spent the final months of their time in the WH handing out pardons.
Why Hillary’s past connections with corrupt donors and associates is being ignored is beyond me.

8. I read Obama's entire tax return earlier today
There's absolutely nothing to hide in his return. If Hillary had nothing to hide, she would have released hers already too.

And your "$300,000 real estate gift" claim is bullshit.

10. I don't think Obama should mention that Clinton defended a child rapist
or that she blamed the 12-year rape old victim . But I agree that it's an important part of Clinton's "experience."

12. Apparently she bears no responsibility whatsoever.
Typical of her and her supporters. She should be our choice because of her "experience," but when it mattered, she caved to Chimpy. But that doesn't count.

14. LBJ was an "experienced" politician that tried to prove his "toughness" too.
Almost 60,000 dead GI's and 3 million dead Asians just proved that he was a politician willing to spend lives for political image.

term amounts to watching. You go, Hill! Who else is qualified based on "watching?" Get real, Hill!
