Thanks, Hillary!
Thanks for going sharply negative with such moments as "Shame on you, Barack Obama". Thanks for repeatedly playing the fear card. Thanks for saying that McCain has the right experience to be President but Obama doesn't. Thanks for whining for a solid 2 months. Thanks for backing a bullshit lawsuit in NV and threatening one in TX. Thanks for dissing voters in every state that didn't vote for you and running an "insult 35 state" strategy. Thanks for tossing out Rezco repeatedly while you've had to return a mountain more of filthy money than Obama. Thanks for stashing your bucks in offshore accounts. Thanks for telling Steve Kroft that Obama isn't a Muslim- as far as you know. Thanks for the NAFTA charge when it turns out it was your camp doing what you accused Obama of. Thanks for alienating so many African American voters with Bill's stupid comments and the remarks of so many of your surrogates. Thanks for your fabulous scorched earth campaign. Thanks for all that and more.

Thanks for the memories, Hill. We won't forget you, that's for certain.

10. I'll drink to that, cali.
I got back from San Antonio yesterday. As I was getting in my rental car to go to the airport, a top staffer who was staying at the same hotel pulled up next to me. We chatted for a few moments and she told me that for the first time since the beginning of the campaign, she truly hated Hillary Clinton. She looked utterly dejected and defeated. She said that it appeared as though HRC was willing to "play chicken" all the way to the Convention.

If this goes to Denver, that would be August. Halfway through the general cycle.

Thanks a bunch Hillary.

18. Right witcha there, S.
I used to believe she should go back to the Senate after she fails to get the nomination.

But since she seems so eager to throw the Democratic party under the bus, I'm hoping the NYS Dem party decides to return the favor.

39. But even on mute she's worse than W with the bulging eyes and flapping arms
I love New York. It deserves better than HRC. I'm going there in a couple of days to see the great new protest play at the Public Theater, "Conversations in Tusculum":

"The country you love and the values it represents are being destroyed by a misguided leader. You can continue to live in relative comfort by not involving yourself, or you can take action to save the democracy you love. Set outside of Rome in the villas and hillsides of Tusculum (Tuscany), plalywrite Richard Nelson continues his revelatory exploration of history with a new play that chronicles those entangled in Julius Caesar's world of manipulation and power."

With Brian Dennehy, Joe Grifasi, Aidan Quinn, Gloria Reuben, David Strathairn, and Maria Tucci.

It's been extended until March 30, if anyone's interested.

36. I love how when Bush did this everyone cried foul.. but when Clinton does it..
It's just great because she's "Tough".

It's not being tough.. cheating and playing dirty politics isn't tough - it's unethical, and it's the reason so many people hate the politcs of today. It's the reason that we're where we're at in this country.

But, I suppose that is OK - as long as your girl can win, right?

And i'm going to drink till i get my fill

And i hope when i get old i don't sit around thinking about it
But i probably will

Yeah, just sitting back trying to recapture
A little of the glory of, well time slips away

And leaves you with nothing mister but
Boring stories of glory days

20. what a small bag of complaints. petty, really. I thought it was something important bugging you.
But, it's just politics getting you down.

It's not like Obama isn't inclined to fight dirty. He hasn't had to since that debate where he lashed out with his biggest attack, he's been ahead. Look at his responses. The Obama campaign is calling the Clinton camp's attacks out of bounds (I haven't agreed that most of what they complain about actually came from the Clinton camp) yet, they are more than willing to jump into the mud. And their strategy isn't meant to merely defend themselves against a particular charge or inquiry, but to inflict their own damage on Clinton. Talk about hypocrisy. They obviously don't mind this type of campaigning. They just don't seem as outraged by the tactics as you are. Hell, they're positively negative. Shame on them.
