Crazy friend thinks that this is all a PLAY. Clinton/Obama was decided months ago ...
My conspiracy nut friend thinks this whole think has already been decided.

The Clinton/Obama contest is out there to keep people pumped up and enthused, and that the resolution will be dramatic and make most people very happy, while tearing McCain several new ones. IF Clinton just waltzed into the convention without opposition, it would just be so boring.

I say he's full of it, but one wonders with all the voter fraud and other crazy stuff that's happened over the years.

Is he crazy or what?

3. I don't think he's so crazy.
I have believed for a long time that the nominee of each party was preselected by their parties even before the first hat was thrown in the ring. The whole primary election hoopla is about making the losing candidates believe they have a chance to be the presidential nominee and the voters that they actually have a say. They don't. It's becoming more and more obvious with each election because they aren't even trying to hide the brokered deals that well anymore.

15. I agree. If voting really changed anything, it would be illegal.

It's just bread and circuses for the people while the emperors go about their nefarious business.

5. He isn't crazy

The Election Circus is for the purpose of fooling us into believing that we actually live in a
democracy. But there is little if anything Democratic about the 2-party system.

8. a lot of this could have easily been predicted
I mean, the Obama had a memo leaked that basically drew up every race as it's gone, right down to the vote margins (with the exception of Maine).

And they have it going right to Puerto Rico, Clinton winning there, but Obama still getting the nomination.

same as with every other conspiracy theory. Of course, by telling you it's bunk that just proves I, too, am part of the conspiracy.

read, find a copy of THE NEW WORLD ORDER by, (I know< I know)Pat Robertson, however, the book is enlightening about the Federal Reserve, Council on Foreign Relations, etc.

Here's a sample from page 96:

"Rest assured, there is a behind-the-scenes Establishment in this nation, as in every other. It has enormous power. It has controlled the economic and foreign policy objectives of the United States for the past seventy years, whether the man sitting in the White House is a Democrat or a Republican, a liberal or a conservative, a moderate or an extremist. This power is above elections, but it has been able to control the results of elections. Beyond the control of wealth, its principal goal is the establishment of a one-world government where the control of money is in the hands of one or more privately owned but government-charged central banks."

This was published in 1991.

I use this book all the time to look up names of past administrations' people....and it's amazing how many names we see everyday now were also in the past records.

Edit: Forgot my manners! Welcome to DU! :hi:

13. I think
Clinton being the nominee was decided months (years) ago.

I think Obama was expected to give her the appearance of having some competition but that is backfiring. ;)
