Why is the Convention a month later this year?
This could really come back to hurt us. The Convention is in late August, and likely we won't have a candidate until then. That gives us ,what, one full month to unite behind a candidate?

It was in Late July in 2004.

2. They choose the date each time and last time it seriously hurt
Kerry that his convention was 5 weeks earlier than Bush's - resulting in him having to use his general election money over 13 weeks to Bush's 8 weeks.
