VP Question For Hillary And Obama Supporters
I (a Hillary Supporter) would love for her to pick Wes Clark as her running mate.
Who would Obama supporters like to see as his running mate?
Just curious.

6. with Obama, I'd like to see a woman. Possibly a Hispanic woman.

Loretta Sanchez might be good.

Or among non-hispanics, Sheila Jackson Lee, who might increase Dem turnout in Texas in the fall.

Or Marcy Kaptur of Ohio, to shore up that state.

Or maybe Governor Napolitano of Arizona, which would force the Big Mac to spend time fighting for his own state.

7. Napolitano, I think, is a strong option.
But I think Obama would need someone with specific Senate instincts to shepherd legislation and build consensus support.

A lot of folks don't like Tom Dashcle, but I bet he winds up on Obama's short list.

2. I like Clark for Obama, too. I know he is aligned with Clinton right now.
But, if Obama wins, all the (real)Dems will become Obama supporters.

I want someone with the foreign policy experience, not from the Senate. Richardson, maybe.

11. Anyone but Bill Richardson. He's full of frijoles and will carry
water for anyone. Including Henry A. Kissinger. He also misrepresents his resume's.

14. Good choice ...

I cringe when people talk about Senate VPs from states that have Republican governors. Intentionally dropping a vote from your Senate delegation is a crappy way to start your tenure.

A lady VP candidate would be a good way to shake the whole "Hillary" thing. It makes me wonder if pre-empting the convention and announcing a female running mate would be a good way to put an end to Hillary's disruptive (and doomed) campaign.

8. Hrc should choose an African American as her running mate if she scrapes through.
Maybe not Obama himself(I'm not sure he'd be willing), but somebody strong. And somebody more progressive than her.
Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas, perhaps, or maybe John Lewis(actually, he'd possibly even put Georgia into play).

9. Obama has been talking to Lieberman
I think he wants someone that makes him look good on Israel to get more votes, but he'll probably pick Larry Craig for his "wide stance" on the issues. His first choice, Tony Rezco, is now out due to his legal problems, and his second choice, James Trafficant, is still in prison, but could be pardoned once he takes office.

(it's a joke, get over it!)

16. Hillary/Hubbel

It's too bad she can't run with James McDougal since he died. Better yet, how about some of the fine pardonies from her husband's tenure.

Hillary/ Marc Rich etc... That would be great.

Every time you Hillybillies say Rezco, you're barking up the wrong tree. You wanna go down that road? Actually I KNOW Limbaugh, et al want to go down that road. They're all dying to talk about all that stuff as well as the one that got tabled, the Mena Arkansas issue with CIA drugrunner Barry Seal. Yeah, it implicates Republicans too, but by and large the media will fail to report that.
