how votes are added to the popular vote for caucuses? I believe the popular vote will be the determining factor.

1. Are you talking about Texas?
About 2/3 of the delegates are assigned based on the primary results and the remaining 1/3 based on the caucus results.

2. No.. i think what he's asking is are there tally's
of How many people voted for Clinton vs. Obama in each of the caucuses. Are these numbers tracked somewhere? In Nebraska, Obama won the caucuses by almost 70% - 30% - but I don't know what the actual NUMBER of people were that caucused for Obama vs. Clinton.

Regarding TX.. i REALLY don't know how you do that. Do you just use the Primary number, because many "voted twice" once in the primary, once in the caucuses?

3. Ah, got it.
Caucus turnout is typically a lot lower than primary turnout, so it's difficult to make an apples-to-apples comparison.

4. I agree.. but then, how are we tracking who's winning the "popular" vote..
Are we not including caucus states, or are we pulling that number from somewhere. Since everywhere is showing Obama up by 700,000+ people - i'm assuming the caucus goers numbers is included in that tally.

5. Delegates are counted at the caucus...
According to how many support which candidate? So, in a way, it is about popular vote also. However, the winner of the caucuses may have gotten a much larger popular vote if it had been a primary or vice-versa?
