Hillary is accused of being "Oscar the Grouch!" and considering all the addition he is promoting Obama has become the target of calls of "The Count!"

Monster? You mean as in Cookie!? Cookies? Did Someone say Coookeeees???????? MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

12. that's interesting
because the people I'm talking to who had been attracted to the Obama campaign find it troubling that he or his advisers would be practicing the "Old Politics" they profess to be above. They're not hearing "Hillary is Monster". What they're taking from this coverage is "Obama is another Hypocrite politician who doesn't practice what he preaches" and "Obama sunk to a new low with his campaign calling Hillary a Monster".

I guess the message heard is dependent on the perception of the person listening.

17. This was not an official stance.
Your perception that this is what the Obama campaign is promulgating is wrong. Invalid argument.

20. invalid argument?
says who? you? of course he's not promulgating or promoting this argument. But that's not what this thread was about and it's not what people I know are hearing when they listen to the MSM repeat Monster with regards to Hillary.

Secondly, learn to read. In no way did I say this is what the Obama campaign believes. My Post focused on those people I've talked to today and what their perceptions are based on what they're hearing.

And, as I said at the end of my original Post, what one hears is based on one's perceptions. Like it or not, I don't think you have the power to invalidate what someone else might perceive.

13. Did you all hear that Hillary JUST announced in MS that "you all MIGHT be able to vote for BOTH of
us".. indicating that there would be a joint ticket. Not bloody likely, Hillary.

What unmitigated gall. MONSTER !!

23. That's EXACTLY what it is! It's a bait and switch.
She will subtly imply that they'll be on the ticket together to get votes and then if she wins the nom, she'll pull the rug from under everyone. Putting a black man on the ticket with her will be too "risky". :grr:

I'm a Hillary supporter, but we really need to work on getting the media to stop trying to meddle in our elections.

15. Meh
It's a Friday which the media likes to call "dump day". The average person is focused on the weekend so a lot of one day stories get ignored. Don't sweat it. :)

24. Monster
Hitler and Stalin are examples of real-life monsters. For someone who is running on judgement rather than the value of experience, it seems that Obama is showing why he shouldn't be President by associating himself with a top foreign policy advisor who doesn't have the judgement to distinguish between Hillary and Hitler. Or a science advisor who can't answer science questions at a science debate and refers reporters to the Obama web site. Or an economic advisor who creates NAFTA-gate. The office of President is not the place for neophytes.
