Extended Democratic primaries: Who benefits?
What are all these schmucks going to do with all this extra time from the un-ending dem. primaries. I know Hillary will probably eat some more babies while Obama might inspire a few more people. God, Obama is such a jerk huh?

1. The primary season has run into June for MANY years
it's not that this year's primary season is extended... the problem is that it was so heavily front-loaded that it makes it SEEM long and all the excitement was packed into the first quarter.

In 1992, Clinton didn't win enough electoral votes until he won California in June. There were interest races in the states every 2-3 weeks, and the candidates had enough time to visit each state and get to know the voters there. THAT is what's missing this year.
