Hillary 'won' the Texas primary!
through shameless fearmongering, swiftboating, deceit, pandering, etc.

That her ill-gotten gains have been wiped out by the final delegate count, is poetic justice.

Congrats to Obama and supporters for the Texas win! :toast:

5. Clinton won the primary, Obama is winning the caucus.

Looks like Obama will win the total delegate count, ergo, the state. But the OP subject line still counts.

8. According to Thomm Hartmann who has
numbers to support this - the Republicans crossed over in large numbers to vote for Hillary just to keep her in the race.

18. Thom Hartmann
was interviewed on Fox when the e-mails were coming in from people who crossed over. He knows what was said and what the numbers were.

11. And don't forget the help from Rush Limbaugh
And all his Republican listeners who did what he told them too and crossed over to vote Democratic for Hillary. She couldn't have done it without them.

It seems the evil twins of Rush and Rove were on her payroll.

I can see why she would want to keep her tax returns under wraps.

19. Hillary won the Texas primary skirmish ....
... but lost the caucus skirmish, and also the Texas pri-caucus battle.

Considering the fear-mongering and deceitfully negative campaigning, Obama did damn well down there. Kudos to active Texans.

(Note that the caucuses likely had less anti-Democratic Republican infiltration. Interfering Rethugs would likely vote in the primary, but wouldn't waste their time in going to a caucus.)

20. yes, i'm inclined to agree
If you're a repug, it's one thing to step into a booth, draw the curtain, and vote for Hillary. It's quite another to spend a few hours at a caucus and publically state your "preference" before your friends and neighbors. I imagine most repugs crossing over at a caucus are truely supporting the candidate and not just gaming the election. One of the benefits of a caucus, i suppose...

21. Exactly.
You explicity expressed the point I didn't take the time to detail, that it wouldn't be just about the time spent to caucus... but that they'd have to caucus amongst people who KNOW their true political inclinations -- and would berate them for their daily forwarding of "Obama is a muslim" emails, and the like.

Cheers!
