4. I think she's been a good Senator for NY...
I'm from Northern NJ so I get NY news and pretty much keep up with the goings on there politically.

But is there anyone who could possibly ever not believe that she was using the senate seat of a state she didn't previously live in as a stepping stone to a presidential run? I mean if New Yorkers were and are fine with that then I see no problem with it. And my impression is that she has been a good senator and advocated well for the state she represents. But I'm curious if there's anyone so naive as to think she ran there and moved there because of some loyalty or love for the state of New York?

5. I'm not sure what you're asking.
I live in NY and I don't support Hillary. I know that she used NY as a stepping stone to run for president. She couldn't care less about this place.

HRC after 9/11 for disaster relief. As for caring, try telling that to the first responders who remember her fondly.

7. In upstate NY
she delivered empty promises. I know after 9/11 she came and advocated for the health of the first responders. I can be cynical and say why wouldn't she--it gives fabulous press and political capital, or I can say "its her job" or I can put her up on the pedestal of angelic sacrifice and compassion (Not). Of course Guiliani was the one who attended funerals almost every day. At the end of the day it is downstate--NYC that gets her (and Schumer's) attention. I think she pretty much leaves NY stuff up to Schumer. She does come to the NYS fair every year as does every NYS politician. She carpetbagged here and had the celeb name and has not be significantly challenged in her runs for Senate. Upstate NY never had a real boom in the 90's-- the only things that have boomed up here is crime, unemployment, tuition, gas, food, fees and taxes. We've been losing population steadily.

The elections (state and exec) have yielded little alternative to "same as it ever was."

8. You need a choice for those of us who voted for Obama in the primary.
BTW - the New York State primary used to be in April and May - I remember poll watching in my shirt sleeves. Moving it up to Super Tuesday really put New York front and center, didn't it? I can't believe how the candidates criss crossed back and forth into every little burg on the Thruway!
