2. That would play up the fact that the caucuses have too much weight, that
they are non-representational.

I would welcome a media discussion of this simple fact.

3. Actually the cross-over republicans voted in the primary...
they were too scared to show their faces at a caucus.
Hence it was probably more democratic.

4. Non-representational? You Mean Because The Ditto Heads
couldn't attend the caucuses? I think they are far more representational since Rush's friends won't be voting for Hillary in the GE.

6. Non-representational???
In the same way that automatic run-off elections are non-representational?

I mean, minus the 'coercion' that some feel (real or imagined)?

8. The Texas caucus is to encourage a boots on the ground
organization from the campaigns. It requires more than ad buys and rallies.

Hillary won the Primary by 100,000 votes out of 2.4 million. I think the caucus was a fine way to essentially "break a tie".

9. Tell it to the TX Democratic Party
They are the ones who decide how to conduct their elections.

10. That was not so in my precinct.
Our Caucus was dead on the Primary vote.

I stayed and stuck it out. I just wanted to get my vote in.

For all those who did not or could not, I will stand with them next year if they seek change and offer my support. But for now, this is a done deal. IMO.

> caucuses... are non-representational

It doesn't matter what you think about this: the simple truth is the people of Texas are happy with their system, and they get to decide how to run their process, not you. Or don't you care about democracy? I know you'll claim you do, but believing in democracy means respecting people's right to make rules you don't like. And you in turn have the right to try to change those same rules. Don't like how the winner is decided in Texas? Move there and try to change it. Anything else is just wind-bagging.
