Why can't Hillary close the deal?
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 03:12 PM by Skwmom
With all her name recognition, established political machine, bag of dirty political tricks, and unpaid media campaign ads (which far exceeded any expenditures made by the Obama campaign in TX and OH) why isn't she winning the nomination?

Anyone?

6. Why bring up Obama's Senate mentor? His good buddy that he endorsed?

3. For the same reason Obama can't close the deal--we're evenly divided.
With all of his name recognition, themes of "believe/change," charisma, scads of new internet money, bag of dirty political "Sweet Home Chicago" tricks, and connections to spurious and shady big-money contributors and hangers-on, why isn't HE winning the nomination?

Anyone?

5. Automatic guilt by association. I wager all fundraisers borderline
From all reports there is no there-there. He was the highest bidder on his home purchase. I expect the inference to continue until Clitnon's get their way, and then the GOP.

I'd say the Clintons more in the sludge.

7. Yep, automatic "guilt by association" indeed. That's a two-way street.
The irony is lost, though, I note...it all depends on whose ox is gored, as always.

4. because a majority of democrats prefer another nominee.
like me, for instance. i don't want to eke out a victory, i want to grind the GOP into the dust in november.

i need my ohio reagan democrat parents to come back to the fold for that to happen. they like obama because his rhetoric absolves them of the guilt they feel for putting president narcissist mcsociopath in office. and they irrationally hate hillary.
