Reaping the Whirl Wind
of perhaps be careful what you wish for.

Today I read that Obama (correctly IMHO) is ready to rehash some of Hillary's doing's in the White House since she is fixated on Rezko.

With that in mind I visited Wikipedia and found this.

The White House travel office controversy, often referred to as Travel gate,<1> was the first major scandal of the Clinton administration. It began in May 1993, when seven longtime employees of the White House Travel Office were fired, after a brief investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The White House said the action was due to financial improprieties in the office operation. Critics said the actions were done to allow friends of the Clinton's to take over the travel business and that the involvement of the FBI was unwarranted. Heavy media attention forced the White House to reinstate most of the employees in other jobs and remove the Clinton associates from the travel role.

Investigations by the FBI and the Justice Department, the White House itself, the General Accounting Office, the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, and the Whitewater Independent Counsel all took place over the subsequent years. Travel Office Director Billy Dale was charged with embezzlement but found not guilty at trial in 1995. First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton gradually came under scrutiny for allegedly having played a central role in the firings and making false statements about her role in it.

In 1998 Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr exonerated President Bill Clinton of any involvement in the matter. In 2000 Independent Counsel Robert Ray issued his final report on Travelgate, stating that Hillary Clinton had made factually false statements but saying there was insufficient evidence to prosecute her.

Note that she was not prosecuted due to insufficient evidence not that she was not somehow involved in this or that may have been in fact guilty of some type of maleficence.

It also states that she had made factually false statements, most people understand a factually false statement to mean LIE!!

I again state that the GOP will only be to happy to bring this stuff up (did you really expect them not to??)

Okay I imagine I opened myself up to serious umbrage, so have at me.

But remember I did call names, and can you really argue with my central premise of this post??

Duck and cover from incoming.

using that crap implies that you have to dig back that far.

2. Not a problem except
according to accounts in todays news that info is all locked up by Clinton lackey Bruce Lindsey.

If you take the time to read the whole lengthy piece that wickipedia has on travelgate you will note that Hillary does not come of in a positive manner.

This should be considered as the campaign continues.

I say again the GOP can and will use this.:hide:
