Clinton supporter Debbie Wasserman Shultz disgraces herself on The Stephanie Miller show
http://www.stephaniemiller.com/bits/2008_0307_schultz.mp3

The saddest thing about the Hillary's win-at-all-costs strategy is the number of formerly respectable Democrats that she's forcing to "Colin Powell" themselves for her twisted ambitions.

First she somehow convinced Stephanie Tubbs Jones to engage in a disgusting bit of race-baiting, saying on national television that Somalia is Barack Obama's "native country". Now we get Debbie Wasserman Shultz misquoting Martin Luther King, Jr. to justify seating the Florida delegates and going on to parrot Hillary's "McCain Strategy", fawning over John McCain at Barack Obama's expense.

It's just pitiful.

65. You can be Black and be a racist

Tubbs is not a racist in my view and I happen to be African American.

She is being loyal to her friend Hillary, no problem there.

Not sure she was correct in that being his native clothing, but I may be wrong.

I sincerely don't believe that she is a racist but I do understand why she is a friend of Hillary's.

She represents, " Birds of A Feather Sticking Together."

She is power mad and would step on her Mother at this point to get Hillary elected.

That is what she is doing ~ there is no limit to what she wouldn't do to be in the Cabinet or whatever HC wants to give her for her cheer leading efforts.

16. What do you think of this strong woman's views?
Gov. Katheryn Sebelius, (D-KS)

“Sen. Clinton and her campaign surrogates keep deriding Sen. Obama’s wins in red states by saying that her victories in the ‘big states’ are the ones that matter,” Sebelius said. “The right Democrat, like Barack Obama, can carry red states, just like the 14 Democratic governors elected in states won by George Bush in 2004. We can’t tell people their votes don’t matter and then expect their support against John McCain in November. Sen. Obama is reaching to independents and Republicans because they desperately want to change our politics. I hope Sen. Clinton will follow his lead and stop dismissing Democrats that don’t live in New York or California.”

88. I've always liked her, and Tubbs-Jones has been one of my heroes since the 2000 fight
It's sad to see them humiliate themselves in the service of such a dishonorable woman.

Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 06:31 PM by jlake
STJ & DWS are not humiliating themselves and Hillary is not dishonorable.

I hate to say it, but I was reminded of Jack Kingston and his allegations that Obama won't say the pledge.

Hillary conning her acolytes into lying down in front of the Obama steamroller.

Thanks, I'll be smiling about that one all day.

22. When this miscreant won't even talk about impeachment w/ her
constituents...

It's time she's called out for what she is. A blow-hard Lieberman wannabe.

They voted you into office Debbie! They can talk w/ you about whatever they damn well want to!

BTW-- Don't think we don't know that you're in it with Thurman, Nelson and the others in the "leadership" of the FL Dem Party...

For shame!

36. I have seen each of her FL superdelegates shame themselves
and act like they have one mission. Hillary or bust.

They are ruining our state's chances of a fair election.

I can not watch Hillary on TV anymore. We turn the channel. There is a nastiness in her tone now and it is carrying over to her SDs here.

You are the second one in this sub-thread to challenge the party loyalty of a fellow DUer who happens to call out Hillary and her henchwoman Wasserman-Schultz for their bullshit.

Go ahead and bow at their alter, and celebrate their endorsements of McCain. Listen to the clip and you tell me who's being duped.

At the very least, Wasserman-Schultz is a liar. Obama served for eight years in the state legislature.

I was referring to her popular support, not her tactics.

But it is really getting sad -- it's like watching someone throw up in front of you.

96. What a disgraceful shill she was....I screamed at the radio when she started mouthing off about why
Clinton was more qualified and then she spit out the usual talking points from the Clinton campaign and when asked about qualifications, she suggested that Obama would be only aided by a Manual in what to do in the White House....

It was plain wrong....here she is supposed to be representing Floridians in the issue around their votes counting (that means all Floridians) and then the next thing you know, she's showing her true intentions and feelings which is Hillary Clinton at all costs.....

100. Our "girl" McClinton is the Great Polarizer, isn't she?
As much as I despise the corrupt and unprincipled Clintons, the last thing I want to see is the Democratic Convention in Denver turn into a free-for-all as it happened in Chicago in 1968. The gods know that we can ill afford another four years of Republican rule.

105. Stephanie was very nice to her as Debbie lied like a Clinton ever could
Wasserman-Shultz kept deducting how many years Obama was in the Senate by the interview so that he only was in the Illinois state Senate for two years. Last I checked, 8 years is six fingers more than 2.

The only way anyone can support Hillary at this point is to lie.

Apparently Clinton and Wasserman-Schultz have yet to figure that out.
