4. By printing a direct quote?
What was Samantha Power doing saying that to the foreign press? Don't you question that?

5. Again...she is on her book tour, not the campaign trail.
She's promoting her new book, which (Shock! Horror!) isn't about the election.

I think she was blindsided. She's passionate, and clearly said too much.

She's not a paid spokeswoman, or even a paid advisor, and she wasn't even giving the interview as an unpaid Obama advisor, either.

It was a cheap shot by the journalist.

6. Well then perhaps she should have been discussing her book.
But if she seriously believes Hillary is a monster and said so, I don't want her involved in foreign affairs.

7. She did discuss her book
The question was completely out of left field.

Anyone who doesn't want Samantha Power involved in foreign affairs has no idea what they're talking about. She's brilliant. I actually started liking Obama because she was advising him. Shame on Obama for accepting her resignation over something so stupid.
