This "monster" thing...
I am not saying anything in favor of one way or another, but how many of you get the feeling that if someone says something like that, someone in S. Powers position, that certainly she might have had a reason to say it? (Not saying it is excusable)...In other words, do any of you wonder, just what must have transpired to reach said conclusion? The statement "..monster" doesn't feel like general hatred...it feels like it was based on something that might have happened? Just speculation, not trying to flame anything.

1. Maybe she saw Hillary at a Halloween party dressed like this?

4. How about she was interviewed as part of her book tour...
a book which has nothing to do with the presidential campaign, and the foreign reporter asked her a question completely out of left field. She's not a paid spokeswoman, she's not even a paid campaign employee.

She's an unpaid foreign affairs advisor, and Obama was damn lucky to have her. He's a fool for accepting her resignation.

It's true that Power held President Clinton's administration accountable for their indefensible actions during the Rwanda Genocide, but it's also true that the Clinton Administration should be held accountable for their indefensible actions during the Rwanda Genocide.

5. Maybe she likes and respects John Kerry,
and saw what Hillary did to him on 10/31/06.

That was definitely monstrous behavior from Clinton - it made me see who she truly is.

The smears on Obama have been worse, but one might write those off as "how the game is played". Clinton throwing Kerry under the bus has no such excuse.
