Newsweek: "Deal close for second FL primary"
Edited on Fri Mar-07-08 07:26 PM by 4themind
I apologize if this was posted already and I was I was actually just about to make a post putting a similar idea using soft money from the DNC out for discussion here before I'd heard that this idea was being floated around by the party brass. I hesitated because I wondered whether there would be any campaign finance law obstacles since and I think I'm relatively ignorant as to the law in that area I admit. I guess we'll see how whether this plays out. Here's the link

1. Karen Thurman's name is not mentioned in that article.
I don't think we deserve a do-over, but it is whatever bully Bill Nelson wants.

2. sounds good to me
and the mail-in ballot will probably mean even more Floridians will participate. Then we'll have a true sense of who the winner is.

3. the article doesn't mention that there is any agreement with the DNC
and specifically states that the candidates have not agreed to it.

I just don't trust Nelson from what I have been seeing the last few months.

4. She just agreed that Obama is like Ken Starr. On Countdown.
I can not watch her. She is becoming just like the Republican candidates.
