That's the main bone I have to pick with Clinton's statement. I don't mind Obama and Clinton duking it out until June, but not if that includes conceding points to the real enemy. "Certainly" McCain has crossed the threshold to qualify as Commander-in-Chief?! Not by my fucking barometer!

With all due respect to veterans everywhere, fighting in a war does not automatically qualify you to DECIDE when war should be fought. That "threshold" is crossed or not throughout the course of a political career. It is earned not only through votes in situations where war is to be decided, but public statements as well. In other words, stating that your foreign policy in the Middle East is "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" is an automatic disqualification for any human being with their head screwed on straight.

So McSame has, to paraphrase Colbert, hundreds of years of experience. During those centuries, when has he ever demonstrated the INTELLIGENCE & WISDOM that many tend to assume comes with longevity? Making the same stupid kneejerk reich-wing mistakes over and over does in fact constitute a certain kind of experience: SHITTY EXPERIENCE! Not exactly threshold-crossing by my calculations.

post I would..it's an excellent basis for why there should be no maccain in the white house and hilary's pumping for mcsame is just more of the hollow talking points she so desperately throws out into the media to get her clutches on a way up outta her 2nd spot.
