All Things Being Equal, I'm Going With the Chick
That's basically what it comes down to. There's very little difference between the candidacies of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. She has more experience of playing "the game," that's for certain. None of her top advisers are foolish enough to call her opposition a "monster," or say the truly amateur things that Powers went to the press with. Gotta give her that.

On edit: I take that back. there is a difference. Instead of resigning Hillary bought into the stupidity and agreed with it.

22. Are you choosing not to see some pretty obvious things as well?
neither of the candidates are my ideal. Both of them need to bring it up a notch and yes you are correct "imitating Kenneth" IS a tiny bit different but not enough to make a difference.

Will you address the issue of suggesting McCain could do a better job? Would you not be incensed if Senator Obama had suggested McCain could do a better job than Senator Clinton?

I would have been.

By pointing out his experience in nat'l politics and Obama's lack of it highlighted that she felt she was the better match to go against him.

56. Oh please. Be honest. She said McCain had a lifetime of experience, passed the threshold of
commander in chief, while Obama just had one speech. No matter what word you use to describe this, she is dissing the potential Democratic nominee while saying the Republican nominee is better. I dont think this shows any party loyalty, and even worse, this will make it more likely for us to have to use the phrase "President McCain" in the future. Add this to the dishonesty on the NAFTA issue, her refusal to disclose her tax returns that were filed 11 months ago and much more, we have a pattern.

Which is what most candidates do, and what most people expect their candidate to do.

If a candidate cannot take a bloody nose and emerge the victor, they can't win.

63. Saying the Republican nominee is better than a Democratic nominee is NOT common!
Can you name even ONE time during the entire United States History when that has happened? Give me a quote of a Democratic presidential candidate saying another Democratic presidential candidate is worse than the Republican nominee.

Hillary can criticise Obama. But she should also be criticising McCain more!

What Hillary is doing is making it more likely for McCain to emerge the winner. Her words could be used against our nominee in the Fall, whether it was Obama, Hillary or a joint ticket.

59. I'll take the "unseasoned" team
They didn't do John McCain's work for him with asinine remarks about "giving a speech".

They didn't lie about negotiating a peace agreememnt in Ireland when all they did was attend a tea party at belfast City Hall.

They didn't lie about opening the borders to Bosnian refugees.

They didn't send out scurrilous RW emails.

They didn't insinuate that opposing candidates sold illegal drugs.

Hillary: voted for the Iran war (K-Lieberman), Obama did not.

Lack of medda savvy on the part of Obama's advisor, a highly respected academic and intellectual, is a ridiculous reason to spurn the candidate. By that measure, you will always find yourself in same corner with people like Rove (or Mark Penn); gamers, manipulators and smear merchants.
